What To Expect

Begin your half-day tour with a pickup from your central Abu Dhabi hotel. Meet your guide and travel by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or coach to the neighbouring emirate of Dubai.

Admire Dubai’s futuristic skyline as you approach and drive first to the lively seaside district of Jumeirah Beach. Here, sop for photos of the sail-shaped Burj Al-Arab: the luxury hotel that rises from an artificial island and has quickly become one of Dubai’s emblematic sights.

Continue into the stylish residential neighborhood of Jumeirah. See the exclusive hotels and villas, and admire the marble dome and minarets of Jumeirah Mosque.

Make your way into the oldest part of the city — Al Bastakiya, just south of Dubai Creek. Delve into the narrow lanes to glimpse the traditional wind-tower houses, and hear how visiting merchants and pearl traders first settled here in the late 19th century.

Visit Dubai Museum housed in Al Fahidi Fort, built to defend the emerging city in 1787. Trace Dubai’s history through the exhibits, and afterward, board an ‘abra’ water taxi to cross the waters of Dubai Creek.

Step ashore in the Deira quarter and head for the famous Spice Souk. After absorbing the sights and aromas here, call by at the Gold Souk. Stroll around the outlets and perhaps snap up some glittering gold and jewelry before your tour finishes with a hotel drop-off back in Abu Dhabi.

  • Children below 5 years old must be seated in a child seat while traveling in any kind of vehicle in UAE. If you have a child below 5 years joining the tour, please mention in the remarks.
  • Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
  • The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
  • The duration of the actual tour takes 7 – 8 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
  • Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
  • Tour Language - English / German ( bilingual) or English / Spanish ( bilingual)The guide will speak both languages during the tour)
  • Tour schedule - English / German : Afternoon Tour -Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays, Friday & Saturday

  • Burj Al Arab photo-stop changed to Madinat Jumeirah (no more photostop in Open Beach due to construction)
  • Dubai Museum is closed for renovation .If any given tourist sites are closed an alternate attraction in case of the venue's closure
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 45 travelers

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Started off well, pick up in Abu...

Started off well, pick up in Abu Dhabi on time. However, it all went wrong once we arrived in Dubai. Drivers turning up late, not able to see all places on the schedule, no stop for lunch. At one point we were told to get a taxi, which the company would pay for - which they did. On way out, we did drop offs for other people on the trip, one on the outskirts of Dubai, driver then realized 2 passengers were in central Dubai so had to turn round and go back in to town - the journey back to Abu Dhabi took hours. Driver then got lost on arrival in Dubai. On the plus, staff were polite and genuinely sorry about the mess us. Not a good day though.

Our transfer coach was 90 mins late...

Our transfer coach was 90 mins late of which we were on the red hot beach. This didn't spoil it too much though. The spice market was an eye opener! But it was good to see.

Interesting tour of Dubai, certainly worth doing just to get some bearings and see the places to return to. Shopping at the Souq was a highlight of this one.

This tour did not live up to my expectations We left our hotel at 12 30 and returned after 8 pm with no break for a snack The only free time we had was at the gold market where the only thing we could get was a bar of chocolate A back street Indian chippy was all one could find. Will not recommend

We had to wait for the big tour bus...

We had to wait for the big tour bus in the hot sun for too long, tour was german and english together which was tiring to listen to both. U saw evetything only from bus , the two stops were too short and the free time on the zouk only 20 min. I would t recommend this tour.

Good experience, particularly the Dubai museum, ferry trip and the old city. However, be warned, the transfer is 2 hours plus each way as the transfer driver also picked up passengers at various hotels in Dubai before reaching the meeting point.

It would have been useful to be told we were being picked up by a taxi to then be taken to Dubai to meet the main tour. We were under the impression that the taxi driver was our guide, consequently, it started badly as he didn't impart too much information!! After an 80 minute plus drive to Dubai, we then had to pick up another family before joining the main tour. We arrived at their hotel and were told by the taxi driver that it would be 5 minutes. It was 30 minutes later before we left and were told (only after asking) every Q10 minutes that we would be leaving in 5 minutes. The sights and tour was okay, but spoilt by the travel arrangements, so not one I could recommend.

This tour started with a 2hr drive to Dubai to meet the tour bus Our group of 4 were the only pick ups in Abu Dhabi and when we got to Dubai we met a small bus on the beachfront after a ten minute sit and wait. The bus tour was extremely basic although the guide was informative and tried his best to make the tour interesting. I am sure there are better tours of Dubai available. Not worth the money.

This was pretty boring. The boat could have been spruced up a bit, it was tacky. It would have been better if there was a "guide' givng us information on the sites as we were traveling on the water. Way too much food. It was OK but smaller portions would have satisfied and not have been so overwhelming. The city lights were nice. The service people were good.

The tour was great. The comfortable air conditioned car picked up at our hotel and took us to Dubai where we joined a coach. We then set off on the tour. It was really well done and we got to see all of the sights of Dubai. We stopped off at the Mall which was interesting, as was the river crossing in the traditional boat All in all it was a very good tour and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Abu Dhabi.

Unbelievable value. One hour transfer to Dubai with informative guide. Cover main areas around Jumeirah beach. Only site missed out was the Burj Khalifa though not hard to spot in the skyline.

Le guide de notre excursion était parfait. Clair, efficace, très professionnel. De plus, il parlait très bien français donc c'était idéal. En ce qui concerne les transferts d'Abu Dhabi à Dubai, le chauffeur à l'aller était fantastique et nous a fait découvrir plein de choses en route. Par contre, le chauffeur du retour était and quot;horrible and quot;, il a roulé à and quot;tombeau ouvert and quot; tout le chemin du retour (il dépassait constamment la limitation de vitesse et donc la sirène d'avertissement était continuellement en marche ce qui était très désagréable. Nous n'étions pas du tout rassurées et de plus il ne nous a pas parlé du voyage !! A éviter... en ce qui concerne le tour par lui-même c'était bien mais j'ai été frustrée car je pensais visiter ou au moins voir la Tour Burj Khalifa mais rien uniquement le vieux Dubaï, ce n'est pas vraiment ce que j'attendais. Voir une petite mosquée (de dehors uniquement) n'avait aucun intérêt il aurait fallu la visiter à l'intérieur ! Par contre 1h00 dans le souk des épices et le marché de l'or beaucoup trop ! du temps perdu. Nous sommes restés sur un banc pendant 1H ! aucun intérêt.
