Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a place of worship. Visitors are required to follow basic guidelines to ensure a positive and spiritual experience for all. Dress Code: In keeping with the sanctity of the place, all visitors are advised to dress conservatively.
No transparent (see through) clothing • No short dresses, sleeveless shirts, or shorts • No clothing with profanity • No tight clothing, no swimwear and no beachwear
We have limited quantity of Qantooras and Abayas. Otherwise you can buy from the mosque itself.

My partner got a vomiting...

My partner got a vomiting bug and we could not attend the tour, I asked to reschedule and was told I could but got no confirmation or was not given a time for the rescheduled date. We did not attend the tour so I requested a refund but was not given one. Very disappointed.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. We call this guest several times for giving the pick up time and they didn’t attend the call and they send me a message that “I can't answer right now”. In this case we can’t gave them a refund. Because we already arranged a vehicle for them on the same day but they told us to reschedule the tour, so we postponed to the next day as per their instructions. Once again thank you for your time.

A memorable experience

We were able to see places listed on the tour. There was a little confusion & it was stressful finding our driver outside the cruise port terminal. We had to send him our pictures & kept texting him via Whatsapp. I'm not too familiar with it. He should have been waiting for us outside the terminal with my name on paper.

Interesting city with great architecture and Grand Mosque is special

Grand Mosque visit is a must. Fruit and vegetable market, and flower market are Ok, but we can't buy anything as we are boarding a cruise ship so not sure why that is included for most guests, as it would certainly apply to anyone flying from Abu Dhabi as well. Guide was OK, but tough to understand.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was astonishing with the right amount of time to visit and capture photos. This is a highlight tour and is a perfect amount of stops to visit or drive by. The Dates Market is a pass for us, did it but not worth the time.

Vijeesh was our driver and did a nice job. He gave us some flexibility on how long we had at each stop. He was prompt in picking us up after each stop. As other commenters noted this is not a guided tour which was fine with us, but those wanting a guided tour should select something else.

Interesting and varied city to visit. Be warned of the long walk to the Mosgue and we wer'nt dressed for the occasion me with shorts and my wife with short sleeves and legs exposed and no head covering. The visit to the Palace Hotel made the whole trip. Shameer was a good guide, drove safe and gave the informative commentary.

Musthafa, our guide, was wonderful! He arrived promptly, drove with ease, provided us with valuable information so we got a real understanding of life in Abu Dhabi. The sights were wonderful. Especially the mosque. And the buildings that were used in fast and furious 7! (The movie is cheesy but seeing the buildings was fun)! I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Musthafa! Be aware, however, that there will be a stop where you will be subjected to carpet sales and other items. Low pressure though and the items you see are well worth seeing. The stop at the date market is cleverly done and you definitely will be spending money there.
