    Enchanting Desert Experience with Some Hiccups: Review of the Abu Dhabi Desert Tour

    My Abu Dhabi desert tour was a fantastic experience, offering breathtaking views of the beautiful desert landscape and thrilling activities like sand bashing and camel riding. The cultural performances, including Tanoura spinning, belly dancing, and fire dancing, added to the charm of the evening. However, the logistics of the tour left much to be desired. The pick-up process was slow, and the tour, planned for 4 hours, ended up taking over 7.5 hours due to very slow and disorganized pick-ups and drop-offs. The pick-up driver initially went to the wrong gate of my hotel, which caused a delay. Additionally, the driver who was supposed to drop me off also went to the wrong hotel, and I had to instruct him to make a U-turn to get to the correct place. There was also confusion regarding optional activities that required extra payment, such as a photo with a falcon, which some people thought was included. The guide's quiet and unclear explanations further added to the confusion. Having said that, the tour crew was very attentive and responsive to complaints. They made efforts to rectify issues and even offered free optional activities that would normally cost extra. Overall the tour is definitely worth taking for the experience it offers, but be prepared for some organizational challenges.

    The ride to the dessert was pretty terrible. Not for those that get motion sick as my aunt did. The food was good and the camel ride and show but we had to sit around forever waiting for the next thing because other people had add one that we didn’t.

    We had a great time and experience with our guide Tabbu. The desert is amazing as well as the sunset photo stop, dune bashing and sandboard. A must do when in Abu Dhabi.

    Just Amazing! Highly recommend this trip in Abu Dhabi. From a quick confirmation of booking from Ali, the driver Jazi and the highlight of the trip for me was Arham who was taking care of me/us (the group).     It was a good experiment nice sunset view with many nice activities the tour guide was so friendly and helpful and try to make our trip different his name “Arham”. Only the food was too bad don’t rely on it and if it possible to book the trip without BBQ will be better, VIB seats not that good normal are much better. The conclusion you have to try it if you been in Abu Dhabi it worth.

    The organizers were proactive, picked us from a location of our choice, we had a nice experience with the driving across sand dunes, sand boarding and just relaxing in the desert wait for the sunset. Unfortunately the rest (in the desert camp) was too basic and unpleasant- long wait for some food, loud and irritating music, annoying food sellers and simple show.

    Don't waste your money....short drive on the sand.... BBQ we got 1 chicken stick after three hrs wait for dinner....

    Overall was a fun evening and experience. Our arrival felt a little disorganised as our tour guide Rizwan had got caught with bad traffic and wasn’t able to arrange our dune bashing correctly and we were rushed into a car which went for 10mins when we were supposed to be for 30mins but honestly 10mins was enough for the experience. You need to pay extra for a longer camel ride (which I recommend that you do) time it so you head back towards the camp right on sunset. Whilst in the venue they force things on you such as headscarves, photos and drinks which are not included but our guide told us not to purchase anything as our package included unlimited drinks etc. the shows were pretty cool to see. The sound system was too loud and very crackly which spoilt the shows abit. Felt like there was alot of wasted time between shows. But definitely worth the price for the experience.

    It was what I expected based on the description. It took around 50 minutes to get to the desert where we had a little bit of dune bashing and photo session. Then we went to the camp where we could ride a camel (very short ride, longer available for extra money) and take a photo with falcon for extra money. Then we went to do sandboarding and went back to the camp for 3 performances and Buffet.

    Great Guys, especially Saquib! You get what you pay for. Pick up from the place of my choice was arranged, drop off was also arranged as I asked. My plans and places I initially booked with was changed and the driver didn’t mind at all going out of his way and arranged as I asked. Overall great!

    The dune bashing is great fun, the guide was lovely and helpful. The desert sunset and food were good. My only comment is as soon as you arrive people start approaching you to sell you other things and I found some of them very persistent despite a polite “no thank you”. This took the shine off the trip as I wasn’t used to it

    We had a nice experience, relaxed vibe, dune bashing was a hit. Felt well cared for by our guide. There were so many options to choose from for the same activity, at first we were a bit hesitant because there were less reviews but honestly, no regrets. We had a great time. Communication was great from the time of booking right throughout. They were on time as well. Thank you to the team for great desert experience in Abu Dhabi! Tip: Line up early for the food, once it runs out for all different groups attending, they don't top up. I ended up having vegetarian because all the bbq meat went but it was still really tasty.

    They picked up us one hour later than the supposed time. So, we didn't have enough time to enjoy the sunset. They also asked to leave early before star watching. So, we missed stars, too. Except these two things, everything was good. Finally, I recommened this tour if they don't pick up late again.
