Great full day tour in Agra

I decided to head to Agra to see the Taj Mahal while I was in India for work and it was wonderful. My tour guide, Faizal, was super knowledgeable and very much enriched my visit. I was also a female traveling on my own and Faizal made me feel very safe throughout. We went to the Taj Mahal first thing in the morning and it was beautiful to watch the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. We then hit up a local spot for breakfast that he recommended, which was delicious. Then we went to the Baby Taj, which was gorgeous and intricately designed. Faizal was great about recommending photo opps (and indulging me with being a personal photographer in addition to tour guide) and was helpful in finding local shops to visit. Highly recommend!

Worth the experience

Arif was phenomenal. He rearranged tour to accommodate our needs. Was very considerate of placing us in the shade due to heat. We ere giving ample amount of bottle water. The food at the end was phenomenal. Arif was very informative and knowledgeable about locations. He was very kind and helpful with our picture taking process.

Unfortunate tour in Agra

After a few experiences in India we feel that unfortunate this tour made too many mistakes: - it felt rushed, the guide could have been more delicate to our time, it felt like they wanted the tour to finish as soon as they could - script needs more power, we want to know the details, enjoy every wall, every story - we did not get a single water bottle (this is mandatory) - we asked for a private transfer from Mathura (it was late and super pricey) then we asked for a transfer to the trail station and they tried to overcharged us. - the value for money here was lost! Do not recommend this tour!

It's a Keeper!

I am not in the habit of writing reviews. Check my history, anywhere. You may find two, each driven by the top notch service provided by Keeper Landwey Travels and staff exceeding expectations to the point of forcing my hand. I chose to book with Keeper Landwey Travels after reading reviews and finding a tour that was to my liking. But lets face it, reviews and advertisements are a crap shoot. Perhaps true perhaps exaggeration. What follows is the truth. My trip to the Taj Mahal was a 50 year old dream come true. My guide, Nadeem, was timely, friendly, easy for this American to understand. Nadeem has 20 years of Taj experience and it shines. He was clearly proud to share his country's history with me, as he should be. I purchased the all inclusive, skip the line package with meal. Skip the lines we did. No waiting, ever. Nadeem pleasantly answered all my questions and ensured I saw and learned all possible about the Taj Mahal. We then continued to the Red Fort and 'Baby Taj' for a repeat performance. Even the meal exceeded my expectations. You will not be disappointed with this crew, top to bottom. If I could give 50 stars I would.

Great Tour, Awesome Guide!

This tour was amazing. Our guide Kamran did an awesome job at not only providing a very detailed history of every location but also by taking the best pictures for us! We visited the Taj Mahal, Baby Taj and Agra Fort. He guided us through the whole grounds and made sure we were taken care of and was very accommodating to our needs. Food was also great. Highly recommend.

Toured the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort today. Keeper Landwey was the local operator, and Sadiq was our guide! Navigating two extremely popular tourist sites in a single day can be a lot, but Sadiq made all the difference. He was informative, witty, and also took great care in distinguishing fact from fiction. He’s also a skilled photographer and knew the exact vantage points for memorable pictures. He picked a good lunch spot, received us at the train station, and also was flexible to accommodate our needs. Overall great experience.

Good for pics and general history + shopping

Overall experience was positive. We received a general overview of the history and magnificence of the sites with lots of picture taking but half the tour was spent in shops. The trip consisted of visits to the Taj Mahal, Baby Taj, lunch, and two shops where they showed how locals created art of the city and then offered items for sale. Faisal, our guide, provided good background on the Taj and Baby Taj and took plenty of pictures for us. He walked with us through the gates/grounds but did not actually tour the Taj itself, instead giving us things to look for during our exploration time. This was nice as we had some flexibility but not as hands on as expected and other tour guides walked through the mausoleum with their tours. Our guide said that only 20% of the Agra Fort was open and it was not worth visiting, recommending we choose between that or Baby Taj which was a surprise as the tour listed both on the itinerary and we ended short of the listed 8 hours. Food was great.

Misty mornings don't spoil the fun

For a long time I have been hoping to be able and visit the Taj Mahal and the city of Agra. Even though it was a very misty Wednesday morning I had an amazing visit. With kind and professional guidance of Abdel Amir my visit was all I hoped of. I met with him at the appointed time in front of my hotel, that was situated on waking distance of the West Gate. Abdel had a lot to share about the history, and had a great sense for humour. It was a visit wel with it and the tour was differently worth the price.

We were taken to 3 places that were listed on the itinerary. The timing of the Taj Mahal visit was perfect as we went early in the morning and it wasn't that crowded at that point. After the tour we were brought to the main office where we were offered tea and asked for a quick review. Thank you for taking us around :)
