I developed a new understanding of the importance of King George’s Sound in the assembly and departure of the convoys.
In addition to the individual stories representing all sides of the conflict, the contemporary, early moving images with commentary of men at war were fascinating. They gave stark insights into the realities of warfare and the extra-ordinary courage of men at war.
Anzac Centre was awesome....

Anzac Centre was awesome. Loved being able to track a real soldier through his service, made the whole experience real. The tour around the Fort was just fantastic. We had the most fantastic and interesting guide.. thank you Brian. A Albany "treasure "

It was a very moving and interesting centre. Wonderful tribute to our hard fought Anzacs, I also learnt of a bad flu that hit the world in 1915 that killed millions of people a bit like the bad corona virus of these times, well worth a look whilst in albany
We give it a 10.

Enjoyed following story of our WW individuals around the centre. We particularly enjoyed the convoy light table and the information there. A quick walk outside to enjoy the view was all that time permitted. For anyone thinking of visiting allow one full day or even better 2 days to do the centre and then all the walks and displays on the hill around the centre. Friendly attentive staff while showing hygiene precautions due to COVID-19 outbreak. We give the centre and staff a 10 out 10. Do not know about the restaurant as we ran out of time but it looked amazing.
