Overview

Albuquerque is world renowned for its hot air balloon festival. Most visitors only watch balloons from the ground but this tour offers the chance to soar into the air yourself. In a small group of no more than five people, watch the sun rise as you fly over the Sandia Mountains and toast the experience with a glass of bubbly.

On the Southwest corner of Irving & Coors BLVD there is an Eyeglass World/Skechers. We meet in front of Eyeglass World. We will have an all white ford passenger van, pulling an all white enclosed trailer. Please try and meet 10-15 minutes early.

A beautiful morning in a balloon! ❤️

Such a beautiful experience! From watching the balloon get inflated, to sailing over the city, to the gentle landing, and the celebratory mimosas, the morning was fun, exciting, and lovely. The gentleman that took us up was so kind and helpful to this short, older lady that needed help getting in and out of the basket. We had just seven people in the basket, including the pilot. We are so glad we took this trip!

I planned a roadtrip for my 60th birthday and a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque was my finale. I booked with Four Corners for the sunrise adventure. It was absolutely fantastic. A perfect morning to fly and what an amazing crew. The matriarch, mom, was so knowledgeable, friendly and shared great stories about their family. The crew who set up the balloon were so encouraging, supportive & had a great sense of humor. Then there was our pilot Daniel. He was amazing. He explained everything to us to ease any anxieties and had a great personality touched with a great sense of humor. As a 60th birthday present to myself, this was an absolutely amazing experience and I highly recommend Four Corners hot air balloon rides. What I was really impressed with was the FAMILY connections.

Balloon ride was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Daniel and crew provided a wonderful experience. Learned a lot about ballooning as well. The videos from the ground of our takeoff and landing are a great memento of the trip. Viator web site, however, is wrong about the max number of passengers. Balloon holds 8 not 5, as advertised. Operator told me they had told Viator multiple times over 6 months that the info had changed. Still the basket was not crowded and had plenty of room to move and look in all directions.

The sunrise was awesome. I the day was a little hazy and the wind was negligible. Neither I nor my cousin had experienced a hot air balloon ride. While I have an adventurous nature, she does not. She was anxious and wary. The operators were highly skilled and personable. My cousin was put at ease with their banter and humor, and how well they work together. The ride went smoothly with a passenger load of 8. This number was very comfortable. Our fellow travelers were congenial, interesting, and from varying backgrounds. The landing (sounded scary from the description) was easy. the story of why it is celebrated with a champagne toast, well you have to ride and find out for yourself. The ride is high up on my most memorable experiences!
