We thank you for sharing your thoughts about this excursion. At times we have found visitors to be less than satisfied due to our far North West Pacific weather. Our area is surrounded by wilderness and possess an abundance of wildlife and geological wonders such as glaciers. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee all sightings will be viewed since conditions varies by season, ocean tide activity, safety, third party organizations and powerful Alaska weather conditions that can be mild-to-harsh year round. Again, thank you for sharing your experience. Please consider the writers bias when reading this review. We read all reviews and strive towards adjusting to meet our world-class ranking.

Meredith was extremely knowledgeable, kind demeanor, and open to the plethora of questions. Great picture spots. Meredith took pictures for us as well while guiding us on the best angles for the shot. Well prepared with snacks, drinks, and binoculars for us.

Great day to end our week!
Addie_D, Apr 2024
Great tour with an even better guide. Juls was fantastic, she’s so knowledgeable - explained so much about the history, wildlife and the landscape. The tour we were supposed to go on got canceled at the last minute and I was able to book this instead and so glad I did! Was the perfect way to end our week in Alaska. If you’re in Anchorage and only have a short amount time, do this tour - you’ll maximize the minimum! And if you’re lucky, you’ll get Juls as our tour guide!
Love the animals
Deb_V, Mar 2024
Seeing the animals is a great experience. The other stopping points start to look and feel very similar. Our guide was great however and we are still glad that we did this.

John our guide was so informative about the history of anchorage. We learned so much and enjoyed a scenic view. The conservatory was amazing and the animals were so cool.
Just go for it
Monty_W, Mar 2024
Juls is very friendly and informative. We started at our meeting point on time, and did not waste much time in waiting for and picking up people. That is great. According to my past tour experience on Viator, I usually have to wait for an hour to actually start my tour, which is annoying. Juls stopped from time to time to let us have access to wild lives. Highly recommend it!
Amazing adventure
Devon_S, Mar 2024
Great experience! If you are looking for a good guide who knows what they are talking about and who goes above and beyond to make your experience amazing, then this is the tour for you to go on.
Great experience
Ingrid_R, Mar 2024
Our operator was Juls. She was incredibly attentive to us, from the first moment until the end of the tour. Juls not just showed us the places but also shared all the history behind them. Despite the fact that the weather wasn’t the best that day, we were able to see the wildlife we expected, especially the bears. We strongly recommend taking this tour.
Snowy but fun!
Lucas_L, Mar 2024
We got to see the animals up close and it was very nice! Our guide was amazing and knew a lot of history and interesting facts!

Kristen_G, Mar 2024
My family had a great time at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. We also love walking on a frozen lake and seeing Portage Glacier. Our tour guide Bob was the best tour guide we ever had! He went out of his way to make sure we were getting want we wanted out of our experience. Very kind, humorous, knowledgeable, and flexible.
Breathtaking

Trip of a lifetime!
Stephanie_C, Mar 2024
This was the most amazing tour! Bob was phenomenal and really went above and beyond to make our trip special. Even in the winter, we got to see the most gorgeous sights! Very accommodating, lots of snacks, and brakes for comfort and food and sightseeing. I would highly recommend this! Great way to get out and see things while you're in Anchorage.
