We had a great time at Masada and the Dead Sea. Benjamin was a great tour guy. The views were amazing. Loved everything about this tour. Benjamin was very knowledgeable, answered our question, and was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend.

Masada and the Dead Sea were breathtaking. Tour guide was very passionate about the historical aspects of both, which makes a world of difference when it comes to teaching history on the top of a mountain 40c (105f) degree heat. Was more physically demanding than what I expected, but would have been fine if I brought more sunscreen and water. Would recommend.

My companion and I were delayed (with the rest of the passengers) and this tour left without us, despite several messages letting them know that there were issues with our ship passing through customs. Ashdod port is not a hospitable or interesting place on its own, and so being stuck here without an agenda or goal is pointless. Frustrated, saddened and angry that this tour vendor left us high and dry and never responded to our communications. Viator was equally apathetic to our issues and could not provide us with an accurate phone number for the vendor. So dissatisfied.

Please note that we do have a limit to the amount of time we can wait for delayed passengers, as we cannot hold up an entire bus full of travelers for too long.

Our tour guide Ziv was magnificent! His humor and wealth of knowledge made the tour a great experience. There is a lunch break given at the end of the Masada tour where only the only option to buy food is the Masada restaurant which is very pricey for the cafeteria type of food in my opinion. I would’ve preferred for the break to be given where you can find different options to choose from.

As for the restaurant option, catering for a group is a logistic challenge, and not every restaurant along the roadside is suited to cater to large groups at a given time, especially in the Dead Sea area.

What an amazing experience floating in the Dead Sea and seeing the UNESCO site of Masada. There were some hiccups with being picked up at the Cruise Port of Ashdod because of strict security so make certain that the instructions you receive are very clear as to your pick up location. It's a long day but wonderful experience

Dead Sea and Masada with Cable Car, Most Memorable

This is the most memorable experience we ever had in Ashdod Port. Ben was incredible! He is very knowledgeable, good communicator, fluent in English. He changed our itinerary based on his knowledge of the crowd in the area and worked best for us. We had a great time floating in the Dead Sea, we learned a lot about history and Masada Trip with cable car is a must do. Please don’t skip this tour. Your travel to Israel will not be complete without this excursion. Ben is friendly and we appreciate him telling us about lunch, how much it cost, on one side so we got to choose what we wanted to eat. Ours was his first big group, he said he handles small group, and he handled ours well.

Great day in the Dead Sea and Masada

the Dead sea is a real experience.. Coming from an Island where we are swimming daily, this was such a different feeling.. Just great. Masada is a bit long although very interesting..but even if one is not so interested in the history, the views from Masada are spectacular. Would recommend anyone going to take a little packed lunch as eating at the restaurant by the cable car was not too good and very costly.. Our guide was just great..

Guide and driver worked well together to provide a very informative and enjoyable trip to visit the ancient site of Masada along with some beach time at the Dead Sea. We even got to visit a packaging site and outlet store for skin care products created from the Dead Sea mud. Our guide was able to link current events to the sights as we drove through the Israeli countryside and give us the perspective of someone who lives in this region, a very educational dialogue ensued as she took questions from the group. Floating in the Dead Sea is something everyone should do at least once.
