Overview

Take a guided kayaking adventure to the Ayia Napa Sea Caves aboard a sit-on-top kayak. This beginner-friendly adventure will take you past beaches and out to sea caves. If you book your tour between March 16 and November 14, you'll even be able to paddle inside the caves (sea conditions permitting).

Pickup details

We can offer travellers a free lift from Larnaca hotel, (free) Nicosia hotel, Agia Napa hotel, Protaras hotel or other prearranged meeting place in Nicosia, Larnaca, Agia Napa and Protaras. It should be noted that transfer is not a paid service and that our company car has private usual insurance (ie, no taxi or similar transportation is provided). To be agreed between the guide and the travellers (usually but not necessarily the same as the pickup location). We do not pick up travellers from ports or airports.

  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • Please keep in mind that while we do provide things like a dry bag, travellers should be clear that they would probably get wet and they should not bring along things that would be damaged by salt water.
  • The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them. At the same time, people should keep in mind that increasing the weight on the sea kayaking, increases the work they would need to do to move the kayak forward.
  • Possibility of upto four kayakers until July 2023. Number goes up to six from Aug 2023
  • We check weather forecast the previous night. If it is not good, and better on the east coast, we instead kayak along the east side of Cape Greko, if customers agree and the weather forecast there is better.
  • Kayakers should be able to swim. Yes, the kayaks of course float and all kayakers were Personal Flotation Devices. Still we expect everyone to be able to swim.
  • Our kayaks are rated for a load of 125 kg. We recommend a load of no more than 100 kg.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Fun and beautiful kayaking trip with great guide

Phivos is excellent! We had a great time kayaking and saw absolutely stunning sea caves and crystal clear water! He took us at our own pace and we stopped for breaks whenever we needed. After that, he drove us around in the car to see the Agia Napa and Cape Greco areas and learn about the history. He is so knowledgable about the nature of Cyprus and is great at helping beginners learn to kayak. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip and we would definitely go back!

Cypress Coastal Views and History

The weather did not permit us to kayak, but per our preferences, Phivos took us on extensive and enjoyable scenic walks exploring various coastal areas. While walking we asked him about the history of Cypress and he gave us a description of all the successive empires and rulers of Cypress from 2000 BC until now in a thumbnail sketch. Exceptional experience!
