As good a tour guide as you could hope for. Warm and friendly who loved his work. Brought the city alive, combining personal stories of its most famous residents with critical parts of Bath’s history and glorious architecture. On the way we learned what a ha-ha is, what a link boy does and what it means to pay on the nail. Kudos Bob!!B

Bob's knowledge of the city was extraordinary. Charming and fun, the walking tour through Bath was evenly paced and informative. Bath is three cities deep and Bob spoke about it as though he lived it first hand. It was a pleasure to learn about all those who built Bath over the centuries to what it is today. From the architecture, to the building composites, and the teams of people who created Bath, this tour was chock full of wonderful insights.

Bob was a wonderful guide. It rained pretty hard and a lot of people, who weren’t ready for England weather, quit mid tour. But Bob weathered on and was knowledgeable and courteous to the rest of us.

Bob is a terrific guide! His knowledge of Bath is unmatched; it is like walking with a History professor and his way of storytelling, infused with historical facts and current knowledge, brings to life the “old way of life” and the new like 3D! Bob is hard to miss as he wears a yellow-green (or neon) coloured vest and holds up a sign that says Best of Bath Walking Tour. The tour is approximately 2h long, but Bob indulged us with a bit more history by request as he really knows Bath. He even got us on time for our Afternoon Tea at the Pump Room with all the shortcuts that we took. Truly an amazing and quality tour guide conducted by Bob.
