Our guide gave us a great tour of the island with history and local facts pointed out. We enjoyed seeing wildlife at a very peaceful location.. He was very considerate in offering a grocery store stop in case we wanted to pick up some things while we were on land.

thanks for the review, we now added a few minutes city back yard viewing, for orchids, birds, iguanas and crocodiles, of course they are in the wild, so they come and go.
Don’t waste time & money on this tour.

Unfortunately, tour was horrible, nothing but touring city blight, no pretty sights of Belize at all. Then brought to a big grocery store at the end. Guide was very nice.

just have a few hours, do the Belize City tour, 2 hours. see Belize as is in its Natural State, we don't advertise a modern city. We do show you what it is at a very slow pace, no hurry, no rush, see the neighborhoods, downtown, birds, plants, people working ( taco stands, construction sites, students at playgrounds and school yard, vendors riding a cart selling meat pies, coconut water, traffic cops at work, and much more, Seeing is Belizeing, reserve online come over and tour

we arrived in Belize our guide was there and ready he was very knowledgeable about belize city i just wish the tour was able to do a little more than the city it would be nice to have a longer tour to the rest of Belize add a additional cost to see more of Belize i would of gladly paid for Thanks

This was a great way to see Belize City! Narciso was accommodating and flexible and was an excellent tour guide. If you want to get see the major sights of the city, this is the way to go!

Tour and guide were excellent. Frustrated that we were unable to reach tour operator prior to tour. Tried mumerous times bia phone.

The rich belize history and personality of the tour guide. Loved that we were able to see the good as well as bad parts of town to see all sides of Belize. The Rum was great and the tastings were plentiful. Did not disappoint!!!!

We were unable to find our tour guide. All the tour operators tried to help us but since we didn’t have a reference number we were not able to get our tour! Please refund our money! Very disappointed! Someone should have been holding up a sign like all the other tourist companies!

The directions are clear on the tour voucher. Come ashore, walk 150 feet from the pier to the EXIT of terminal ONE street side there you will see the V.i.V. staff, and V.i.V. signs. and all transportation is parked next to the BELIZE sign and Baron Bliss Lighthouse with V.iV. signs. email, text , call or whattsup us. Most Belize excursions focus on cave rafting, diving and snorkeling. We preferred to enjoy a less extreme excursion. This city tour was perfect for our group of four. Another couple joined us and this small group of 6 hopped in a van and enjoyed a driving tour of Belize. Our guide has lived there all his life. Naturally, he was very knowledgeable and friendly! There was not a question about the region he could not answer. A little confusion locating the tour operator. We thought they would be waiting at our tender dock. Our guide was outside the terminal wearing a red t-shirt printed with VIV.

There really is not much to see in Belize. You can see all the sites walking round the town. Disappointed with rum factory and museum as no explanation given about how rum is made etc. did rum tasting which cost extra bit was good. Our driver was very knowledgeable.

You should know that Belize for cruise tourists is just mainly a small boardwalk type touristy shopping area. When we ventured past that…security told us to go back🤷🏼‍♀️, We were not sure what to expect regarding the Viator tour we had booked. We then received a txt saying “our V.I.V. Tour guide was ready and waiting for us streetside of terminal 1.” We walked out, again, and found our guide, Narcisco, holding a ViV sign! We were a bit concerned, since we were expecting a Viator tour rep…and a group…but it as just Narcisco and us, in his van! Yes…we asked questions…and he proceeded to show us ID and our Viator confirmation in his phone. We later found out from other travelers, that Belize does not allow outside entities(information from their tour guide), so this gives the locals the jobs! Long story…short….although a bit harrowing at first, we did our due diligence….and this turned into one of the best tours we’ve ever done. Narcisco drove us around the town, talked of all the local customs, places, schools, churches, cuisine, parks, and talked proudly of the rebuilding efforts, and reclamation of lands since the extensive damaging hurricane that devastated the area in November! And the Rum distillery and tasting….fantastic! All thanks to Narcisco! 👍

Our driver was enthusiastic and articulate with amazing knowledge of his country… not mention a sense of humor! He adjusted to our schedule and needs and would have brought us to the beach if the rain had not intervened Rum tasting was good… two for $1 tasting

+ Great Guide - extremely knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. Took his time so we could see things and did a great job! - the van was hot- poor air conditioning and the Rum factory was not included in the tour- I think it may have been closed.
