What To Expect

Meet a driver at your Bodrum Peninsula hotel for a morning departure, then join a group of Jeeps for a trip through the back roads of the Bodrum Peninsula.

Climb over rugged dirt tracks on the way to the high point of the peninsula, passing through a scenic landscape of pine forests.

Visit Camlik village, a community known for traditional stone houses, and see a pond that’s home to a group of sea turtles.

Get a glimpse of rural life on a village farm, where you’ll have the option to ride a donkey, feed chickens, and learn about Turkish beekeeping. Sit down to a hearty lunch prepared by the farm hosts, then climb back into the Jeeps for an afternoon of exploring.

After a day of back roads, cool off at a beach on the Ciftlik Gulf, where you can swim, sunbathe, or just enjoy the sea breeze. This full-day tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.

Fun filled and entertaining day

Was a full on fun day. Great guides and lots to see and do. Not a good idea if you would rather not get wet as the water fights are constant lol. Take a towel.. Lunch was lovely ....
Basically a water fight for 5 hours

This trip really didn't meet our expectations at all. We basically drove around dirt roads water fighting for the majority of the time. It was a nice way to keep cool but I wouldn't say we really saw much. We did go to the turtle lake where the guides would pick up turtles for people to hold. The turtles try to bite so then people would drop the turtles which wasn't nice to see. We had a nice lunch of rice, chicken and salad in the village but there were no options to ride a donkey, feed chickens or learn about beekeeping as the description mentions. We stopped at a farm later in the day to taste olive oil and honey made there but no real explanation was giving about the process, just taste/buy. The last stop was a beach but it was a rocky beach which we were unaware of. Water shoes would be useful to have. There is also no shade at the beach so be prepared for that.

This jeep safari was so much fun. All the little water pistol battle stops were great. The lunch provided was small but delicious. Loved the stops along the way for photos and a bit of sightseeing. Make sure you wear clothes you don't mind muddying up, and plenty of suncream as you don't get any shade in the jeeps. Definitely recommended. The kids loved it.

A great day out. we were a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but we were in jeep with two other families and our guide was excellent, really informative and safety aware. We saw scenery that we wouldn't otherwise have seen and ventured away from the main tourist areas to see real Turkey. we stopped first at a small secluded beach to swim and feed the fish then headed to the olive oil factory and small farm which was interesting. Lunch was at a really clean restaurant and was really tasty, BBQ chicken, rice and salad with load of bread. the owners used to wrestle camels and we had the chance to see the camels after lunch. we then came home via turtle pool and over the mountains on an off road track - wouldn't have missed it and will re book next time we are in Bodrum.
