Highly recommended - great day!
Tremayne_J, Mar 2024
Yvonne was fun and informative guide! The drive was amazing and day on the coffee farm exceeded our expectations. The local worker provided good insights into the full process and Yvonne did an amazing job translating this into English for us! Highly recommended!
Must see experience in Bogota

In this trip you will get a great possibility to try and know how it is to be a farmer for a day on an organic farm surrounded with a beautiful view.
Absolutely loved this coffee experience!
Jeremy_T, Mar 2024
This was so informative! Worth every dollar…I had no idea how much work goes into a cup of coffee. Learned about the plants, their life cycle, the time to harvest, the types of roasts and why that matters, the types of ways to prepare coffee, etc. Great lunch too!
Fantastic Experience!

Our guide, Marcela (also the name of the owner of la Campesena), was phenomenal. The drive to and from the farm were full of beautiful vistas and we loved the stop to learn about the Paloma ecosystem (which we did on the way back because of weather). Karen hosted our farm experience, and she was funny, patient, and so great at passing on her knowledge and answering our questions. We did not visit during a harvest period, so the pickings were slim. I had been a little dubious when I booked this tour about what we would actually get to do at all this time of year and was super impressed with how much we could see and learn and do--there were even little coffee cherries that were late in ripening that we were able to practice picking. We are a family of 4 traveling with two teenage boys, and they actually enjoyed this whole experience, which is quite an accomplishment!
Great time at the coffee farm.
Two_P, Mar 2024
I had a great day with Karin at the coffee farm. I learnt a lot about what is good coffee and what considered to be a bad coffee. Also different processes of producing coffee and to processes also. Unfortunately there were not so much coffee berries to be picked as the picking season is already over but still I had a great time there at the farm. The breakfast and lunch was really nice also.
Incredible Tour!

To begin, our tour guide Nick was absolutely incredible. Very intelligent, very friendly, very helpful, and great with his English speaking skills. Our tour was beyond excellent! Karen was an excellent guide around the farm, showing us the stages of coffee production! They served us delicious food and even better coffee! Highly recommend to everyone!
great day at the coffee farm!

We had a great day at the farm, we learn a lot about the harvest, proces and making of coffee. The woman at the farm did a great job of explaining all good breakfast and lunch too. The driver and guide were also great Catherine and Wim.
Enjoyable farm

Farm is enjoyable. Food is great in Farm. The only issue is that this tour doesn’t offer pick up/drop off service.
Coffee Delight~♧
JONGSUK_P, Feb 2024
I recently embarked on this Coffee Experience tour, and it exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Nick, demonstrated an exceptional level of knowledge and great enthusiasm, creating a memorable adventure for all participants. The Coffee Experience is undoubtedly a five-star delight for coffee enthusiasts.
Great day outside of Bogota
Heather_S, Feb 2024
I went with a group of work colleagues and it was a great way to spend the day learning about how coffee grows, gets dried and selected. It was a fun time outside of the city. We all speak Spanish.
a beautiful way to learn
leviticus_p, Jan 2024
very educational. you walk through the whole process of how coffee is grown, picked, sorted, dried, and roasted. all with the beautiful andes mountains in the background. the only reason i would tell someone not to go is if you get carsick easily, it is a currrrrvy road to the farm but even then i think it was worth it.
Very memorable experience
geraldrmoore, Jan 2024
The knowledge and passion of the staff made the visit extra rewarding. Being a part of the full lifecycle of a traditional coffee process from picking to drying made for a memorable entertaining and educational experience-while enjoying great food and coffee!
Coffee drinker? Just Do It!
Shanelle_M, Jan 2024
I can’t recommend this tour enough! Beautiful 1.5 hour drive (if you get carsick bring meds) through the most amazing countryside. You then arrive to an organic women owned and operated coffee business. They are so knowledgable and walk you through all the stages…then show you how to make the perfect cup! I know so much more now about the coffee I drink!
Fun, educational tour

Great way to learn how the coffee you put in your cup is made. Very educational and fun with a great bubbly guide.

Super fun and educational. Great to get outside of Bogota for the day and learn about how coffee is made.
Amazing, must do!
Sofia_M, Sep 2023
An absolutely lovely day, can’t recommend enough! The day is incredibly well planned and the farm owner and our guide with purple curly hair (who I’ve forgotten’s name sorry!), we’re so informative and knowledgeable. This experience is one I would not miss if you’re in Bogota, perfect contrast to our city activities.
Great day trip from Bogotá
James_D, Aug 2023
We had a great time at the coffee farm. Our tour turned out to be private as we were the only ones there but Nick (our guide), James (our driver) and Karen (from the farm) gave us a great day. We learned loads about coffee production, got hands-on with planting, picking and drying and even got to test our knowledge with a quiz at the end! The tasting, as well as the excellent breakfast and lunch, was great as well. Would highly recommend to anyone.
If you like coffee, this is experience is a must.
Ben_Y, Aug 2023
We met up with our host Nick at the meeting point in the morning, then was transported into what I call my personal dream. We took a small stop mid way to the farm because Nick wanted to treat us to a local delicacy. Once we got to the farm, it was a very wet day, but the farm prepared boots for us. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT BE LIKE ME AND WEAR WHITE SNEAKERS. After a nice breakfast, we got a really in-depth experience of the farming process. Followed by a delicious coffee tasting and lunch, before we headed back home. For dog lovers, the farm saves them so you'll have plenty interaction.
