We had an amazing guide, Jose. He drove well, was kind, knowledgeable (great tips about getting the most out of our viewing), and took very good care of us. He had great stories that were informative and funny. We just wanted a quick trip to the Salt Cathedral and back to Bogota without extra stops. This was perfect!

This was the perfect tour/day to close our trip in Bogota! Jose was our tour guide and driver (with perfect English), and the best company for our day trip to the salt cathedral! The salt cathedral is really amazing, and has also excellent handcrafted items made of salt! We stayed 3 hours there and then went to enjoy a delicious Colombian lunch at Brasas del Llano! We enjoyed amazing food (meat cooked on fire!), love music, warm people and of course Jose’s company! Actually, Jose went beyond and above, as we asked him to do a detour for us and return back to the salt cathedral. We enjoyed his warm heart, knowledge about Colombia and of course our amazing discussions! Also, we even had the change to speak with the owner of the company over the phone who wanted to ask us about the tour and trip! Gracias!!!

Beautiful and Fun and Surreal, too

Really enjoyed the tour. Our driver/guide was great. Very friendly and helpful. The Catedral de Sal is a man made wonder. Strange and surreal but also interesting and amazing. The town is beautiful and the lunch was amazing (though and extra cost of about $30 US for two. Absolutely recommend this. In Colombia private tours are worth the money.

More transport than tour

It’s not really a tour, more a transportation service. The driver drops you off at the cathedral with an audio tour, and then at the city centre for 20-30 minutes of free time, before taking you to a very touristy restaurant

Muy mala experiencia

Fatal, 1. No se comunicaron el día antes para confirmar el tour, tuve que darme a la tarea de contactar al tour operador, horas después me indicaron la persona que sería nuestro guía, al día siguiente llegó otra persona. 2. El tour incluye agua embotellada que no recibimos. 3. Conexión wifi a bordo, tampoco lo recibimos. 4. Guía Profesional, la persona que nos llevó no es un guía profesional, hicimos un par de preguntas y lo que hizo fue consultarle a Google. 5. Esperabamos muchísimo más del tour, más que un tour es transporte privado con entrada a la mina, termino decepcionado.

Transporte ok. Guia muito simpático e muito solícito (chega a exagerar um pouco). Trânsito estava bom, o que colaborou bastante, na ida e na volta. Almoçamos num ótimo restaurante, festivo, com música ao vivo. Agora, o mais emocionante é o passeio dentro da mina. Peguei um audio guia em português, excelente o texto. As esculturas não são de outro mundo, mas a simbologia das mesmas atreladas ao texto do audio guia são emocionantes. Parabéns aos artistas que projetaram a simbologia das esculturas com os textos ouvidos. Outra coisa boa, que foi uma surpresa, pois não sabia, é que no final da caminhada há um trenzinho que nos traz de volta ao ponto da partida. O ponto negativo é que houve uma certa relutância do staff em deixar usar o banheiro no final da caminhada.

Viaje a Zipaquirá

Nuestro viaje a las minas de sal de Zipaquirá con la agencia GoBogota fue una experiencia muy interesante. El guía Don Jorge nos dio todos los detalles e información del las minas de sal, su origen y su importancia para Colombia, incluyendo la historia de los hechos independencia ocurridos en Zipaquirá. Fue un viaje muy ameno, a tal grado que no sentimos el viaje ni el tráfico pesado. Tuvo muy lindos detalles entre ellos llevarnos a comer unas deliciosas empanadas.
