What To Expect
Choose your cruise option when you book: a sunset cruise, half-day cruise, full-day cruise, or a full-day cruise to the Angthong National Marine Park.
Then, after pickup from your Koh Samui hotel, travel to the departure pier where the Independence yacht is waiting. Meet your private skipper, and board the 52-foot (15.8-meter) yacht, designed by Dough Peterson, and the largest sailing yacht on Koh Samui.
Be welcomed by your cruise hostess with a fresh orchid and coconut drinks. The beautiful yacht takes up to six passengers, and boasts spacious decks, and a teak wood interior with three double cabins and a comfortable saloon lounge, making it ideal for couples, families, and groups.
After a safety briefing, soak in the views as your skipper pilots the Independence onto the Gulf of Thailand. Enjoy the offshore breezes and seascapes as you cut through the waves and sail around Koh Samui, or to the islands of Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, or archipelago of Angthong National Park.
As you sail, relax and enjoy 5-star treatment. Sip a glass of prosecco, and stay refreshed with sodas, water, and beer and wine from the open bar, plus fruit and snacks.
On the sunset trip, savor a platter of finger foods and tapas, and on the longer cruises, feast on a delicious seafood lunch prepared by the Italian chef.
Whichever cruise you have selected, while away the time and kick back on deck as you wish. Watch for dolphins or whales, visit beaches, enjoy a swim or snorkel, take the helm and learn to sail, or try activities like trail fishing.
When it’s time, cruise back to the pier, and say goodbye to your skipper and hostess. Your experience then ends with a hotel drop-off.

Our family had an amazing day on the Independence boat. The owner (Luca) and his crew were so thoughtful and kind. The morning calm water so beautiful. We enjoyed spending time on the beach and snorkelling. The food prepared for us was out of this world tasty! The delightful Prosecco made my day. We HIGHLY recommend this adventure!

We had a wonderful day! The food was amazing, almost as amazing as the views. We were welcomed on board with a refreshing drink and a continuous supply of fresh fruits, snacks and drinks. The crew was attentive but not intrusive. The captain was very flexible in the activities when we decided we’d had too much sun and didn’t want to go to a few beaches they had planned (it is a 10 hour tour, so bring plenty of sunscreen), even stopping to let us jump off the boat into the water at sunset after some of the best shrimp, tuna and salmon canapés we’ve ever had. Gin and tonics were delicious and the presentation of ALL the food was gorgeous and the fresh grilled fish for lunch was perfect. It was one of the best activities we did while in Koh Sumai. Highly recommend this as the way to see the National Park. The captain timed everything just right to avoid all the other tours in the area so felt like we had the entire park to ourselves. Thank so much for for helping create such wonderful family memories!

The crew will always be memorable. Extremely nice and helpful. My wife and I chartered the full day experience. You will not go hungry as they feed you plenty.
Part of the experience may include getting wet as the Yacht travels to and from your destination.
We are very glad we included this experience in our trip to Koh Samui.

Great sailing day with a really nice staff and amazing food on the boat . Everything was done that we felt special guests and could enjoy the full day sailing . The hit of the day was drinking champagne watching the sunset

We have all met at Samahita yoga retreat and as our days were numbering to leave, we have decided to do something fun and special. We found this yacht, which turned out to be a really beautiful experience. The crew Nok, T and the captain took a really good care of us and prepared amazing food for us. They had us at Croissants and Illy coffee for breakfast! And for lunch we had Salmon Avocado toast, fresh grilled fish and delicious desert. For sunset we had beautifully arranged tuna, salmon and shrimp sashimi. Not to mention the snorkeling and beautiful views along the way. Thank you!!❤️ again for magical day! We highly recommend this!

We had a very nice experience with Independence. The crew were very friendly and luckily the weather was very good. The amenities on the yacht were nice and clean and it was very nice just sunbathing on the deck. The canapes were very delicious as well. A bit shame that we didn't get to snorkel that day because of the strong current (if I'm not mistaken).
