Overview

The Jurassic Coast features some of southern England’s most scenic shoreline. Travel via Poole Harbour and Sandbanks, and visit Lulworth Cove and the natural limestone arch of Durdle Door, with 3 hours to spend at your leisure. Strollers are welcome, they can be stored in the boot of the vehicle. Please note Durdle Door is not suitable for them as it is quite steep. You can however use the strollers in Lulworth Cove
The Durdle Door hike can be challenging for some but we offer alternative to see from up high and Lulworth Cove can be enjoyed by all.

Absolutely everything, beautiful stunning scenery, quaint villages with thatched roofs and geology at it's finest et omnia . Well worth the trip . Also our tour guide was full of lots of informative history and stories about all the areas we visited , definitely recommended for all .

The tour to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door will provide an amazing experience of south-western part of England. Definitely underrated and not enough advertised in travel websites. Our tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. Overall this was an unforgettable experience and we made long-lasting memories on this tour.

Paul was a life time resident of the area and gave us a great background of the area on the way to the site. He took one if the guest that wasn't up to the hike, on a special drive to another spot so he could witness the site. This was a great day trip!

It's a great tour and definitely worth it. Best part that the driver drops you at durdle door instead of Lulworth cove which saves you 30 mins of steep hike and instead you go 30 mins downhill from durdle door to Lulworth cove. You get to experience the beaches and scenic views without getting too tired.

A must when visiting Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset area

Driver and commentary was just right and fun. Great tips and hell to conserve energy for trekking two places. I wish they would have added time in Poole park or Sandbanks beach. So that would be more than six hours activity or whole day activity.

Pay Attention to Weather Before You Go

The weather was challenging for sure… Cold, windy, and rainy day for July. Hailing during hike to the Doodle Door. Young children on bad weather conditions we would not recommend. Parents were skipping the trek or carrying children down the challenging hill and back up as to not waste their day. I’m sure every guide is different, however during the travel time to the geological sights there should be a description of what we will see and the backgroundexplanation of why this area is so special. At the Welcome Center there is information, however this would prepare the passengers & not have to spend as much time trying to absorb the material when more time could be spent on adventuring. There was 1.5 hours allotted for the Cove area/Lunch & 1 hour spent on the Doodle Door area. There were 2 brief stops of 5 minutes each on the way. If you have a car you can easily do these on your own.

during our recent UK trip, we went for the above tour. It was really fascinating. I had been before and wanted my family to visit and so we all went. Driver cum guide ( I am sorry, i forgot the name. We went on 24th June, 2023) was very nice and he explained about the place etc., It was a good trip and hope to visit again during winter time.
