Great tour from Brasov.

Floran was a very interesting and most professional guide. He knew how much information to give and when to give it and was both informative and fun . He was a very good driver and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. This was an excellent tour.

Our guide was knowledgeable on all the sites and was very friendly. The pace of the tour was excellent and we had the right amount of free time for lunch and photos. Bran Castle was interesting and Peles Castle was outstanding.

First I would like to mention how wonderful our tour guide/ driver was. He was so attentive and informative. Would take his time explaining everything thoroughly and give us enough time to do what we wanted. The tour itself was so lovely. The two castles were worth the visit and we had plenty of time to view everything by ourselves. Definitely recommend this tour.

It was easy to find the departure spot, Florin was an excellent guide, the distances between each site wasn’t too long and all of the sites were interesting. Fall is a great time to see the sites as the leaves are turning, the weather is mild and the crowds aren’t too bad! Thanks Florin for a great day!

I would say Florian our guide was the highlight. He was very knowledgeable and switched seemlesly between different languages. The castles were great and because of renovation work at Rasnov fortress Florian took us to a monastery in Sinaia instead. Great tour

Bran and Peles castles were as different and as unique as one could imagine. Add the monastery at Sinia, and it made for a fantastic day. A special word of thanks and appreciation for Florin, who was a great source of facts, fun and safety on the road.

Our guide, Florin, was the best. We were the only English-speaking people among our tour group, but Florin spoke excellent English as well as Spanish, and he kept us all fully abreast of the itinerary and kept us on schedule. Additionally, he was a knowledgeable guide through visits to both castles and the Rasnov fortress. In brief, the mystique of Bran Castle cannot be missed and in contrast, Pele Castle is a classic example of culture, sophistication, and wealth in the 19th century in Romania.

Our guide brought the genuine history of Bran Castle quite well, minimizing the Dracula hype. The visit timing avoided pressing crowds. Rasnov fortress was closed for renovations so the trip there was wasted time. Peles was so grotesque it has to be seen. The guide handled dual English, Spanish duties quite well.

The trip there was easy and going to Peles castle was my favorite. Bran castle and the drive there was spectacular too. Would 100% get a tour to see these two castles and would hire with flip flop tours.

Tour guide knew what times To go to each castle and avoid crowds very knowledgeable about the history. Only complaint is I wish we had more time at the end to look around on our own.

Best guide I ever had

Florin is one of the best guide I ever had. He is very knowledgeable about Romanian history and culture. He provided the big picture and on demand answered any query. My 6-year old child learnt a lot also during the visits. He is speaking fluently English, Spanish and other languages.

Our tour guide Florin was amazing. We met at the collection point and from the start to the end of the trip he was telling us recommendations and interesting facts about the area and the castles. He got us to Bran castle early and we were the first ones there with the place to ourselves! Florin also came into the castles with us and gave us lots of interesting facts inside. Great trip, great day and great tour guide. Would definitely recommend.

A small group tour through highlight of Transylvania

Florin was our guide. He did a brilliant job of doing the tour in both Spanish and English and was a safe driver. Brasov is a great place to start a historical tour of Transylvania. It is a beautiful city. Both Bran Castle and Peles Castle are worth the trip. It was nice being in a small group and not on one of the large tour buses. The experience was much more personal and Florin did a great job of answering questions and then interpreting them into the other language. We would highly recommend this day trip from Brasov with Flip Flop Tours.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with Florin seeing these interesting and beautiful sights. Florin was so knowledgeable about each place and the history of Romania in general. He was also able to give his own insights from personal experience. He worked well around the challenges of crowds and we had plenty of time for seeing the sights. This was a great experience!

We had an amazing time exploring the castles with Florin. He is a well-read and well-travelled person, with a sound knowledge about the history and importance of the castles, and Romania in general. He answered all our questions enthusiastically. At the end, we knew more about Romania, it's history, culture and traditions. Being from India, we felt we made a good friend in Romania. I would highly recommend a trip guided by Florin. The trip is well-planned, with sufficient time for photos, snacks, and souvenir shopping. The overall coordination was super easy too...
