Walking through parts of the City with Beni while she showed us some of the best chocolates and chocolatiers in Brussels. She was an awesome guide and we had lots of fun. Having delicious prepared chocolate for us to make our own shapes and add ingredients was a tasty takeaway. We had a blast and would definitely recommend.

Beni is a wonderful lively and interactive guide! Lots of fun facts and good history shared. Warm memories were created and surely be kept.
Great chocolate tour
Sara_D, Apr 2024
It was great the tour guide was knowledgeable about history and chocolate. On top of everything the chocolate stores were delicious. It gave you an insight into which stores were worth spending money at.
Not what we expected!
April_B, Apr 2024
Eddie was very nice and very knowledgeable about the area. By 10 samplings they mean 4-5 chocolate shops and choosing 2-3 pieces of chocolate. We didn’t see the statues on the tour that it indicated. And we expected professional dipping with instructions, it’s more like “here’s a bowl of chocolate, go for it!” Then a big beer tasting group came in the room and I and it was loud and crazy. It was very expensive for what we got. Still an enjoyable evening but too much walking and too much money.

Our tour guide is what made this experience 5 stars. She was outgoing, funny, knowledgeable and kind. Of course all of the chocolate shops were amazing as well!

The chocolate tasting was amazing but learning all about of the origins along the way made the whole experience a 10/10
Yummy tour
Linda_Y, Jan 2024
I had Eddie today and we got to try some amazing chocolates today. I like that we go into some smaller places that are unique in taste and creations. Not the big factory churn outs. We also got to make some of our own creations with biscuits and marshmallow and seeing a short video of how chocolates came about. We ended the tour with some more chocolate tastings and a hot chocolate. Now I'm in a sugar coma. It's was great introduction to the belgium chocolate and walking around the square. Thoroughly enjoyed my day. Thanks Eddie
Thought the workshop would be better than dipping pieces into a fondue pot
Di_L, Dec 2023
Not much! Just we expected a bit more. We were disappointed. We didn’t need to go and see some of the places we were brought to .. they had no relation to chocolate!
Response from Host, Jan 2024
First of all : the tour is a walking tour past the main sights of brussels. There are 10 chocolate tastings and 1 hour chocolate workshop. In 1 hour workshop there is not time to make real pralines, since you need to temperate the chocolate. What we teach you are the basics to make mendiants and your own creations. It's a fun workshop. Don't forget that it takes 3 years to become a chocolate master.
Good tour but sadly overpriced
Rachel_P, Dec 2023
Tour was good.. Avo is very knowledgable. In terms of chocolate making - just poured melted chocolate into circles on a piece of plastic and topped with nuts and fruit etc. in terms of chocolate tasting, around 8 chocolates from great chocolatiers (this would be around €10 if you did it yourself). Good tour but not quite worth €60pp
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hello Rachel, our chocolate tour is one of the cheapest on Viator, with 3H30. Combining 10 chocolate tastings, 1 hour chocolate workshop and venture past the major sights. Besides the chocolates you made in the workshop are sold in the major chocolate stores of Brussels at 12 euro per 100 gr. And you made 250 gr during the workshop. Take a look at the price for a professional chocolate workshop : at least 250 euro, for 1 hour.
Loved our guide, exceptional tour
Elizabeth_P, Dec 2023
We loved our guide who told us about Brussels as well as the history of chocolate making. The chocolate tastings were exceptional. The chocolate making portion of the tour was very simple and better suited for children (in my opinion we could have skipped the chocolate making and visited another store instead). Overall we immensely enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to others.

The most memorable part was making our chocolate. However that was a very small part of an otherwise very boring tour!
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hello Rochelle, what exacly was boring? The explinations, the guide?
A must do!!!
Gregory_L, Dec 2023
Madeline was great and she knew a lot about the city and the chocolate. She was easy to talk to and made the group quit comfortable as we all didn’t know each other. What a great experience.
Easy paced tasting tour.
Jeff_S, Nov 2023
Good tour or some Brussels high spots and chocolate shops. Slow paced and informative guide. Great tastings at multiple spots along the route.
