Sadly, we were not able to make this port due to a major storm that was hitting the island that day. The captain rerouted us to another port two days later. I requested a refund from the operator and was told "Sorry, there's nothing we can do.". At least Viator was able to get her to give half of my hard earned money back. Buyer beware!

What a wonderful way to discover Cagliari! Valentina was an excellent guide, explaining the history of the city and the characters of the different areas of the city. She was friendly and informative. The electric bikes are excellent making the steep narrow roads easy to navigate. Cycling takes place on mainly quiet roads, we felt very safe. Thank you Valentina for your care and attention and for telling us about the ancient church di San Saturnino, just beautiful!

The bikes were very easy to ride and needed due to the hills. Valentina (our guide) was very good, pleasant and knowledgeable. We needed to contact her before the meeting time and she was very quick with responses which was very welcome. I would recommend this activity.

The e-bike tour of Cagliari was one of our favorite experiences during our honeymoon in Sardinia! Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour helped us to see many points of interest around the city, and it helped us to understand the overall geography of the city, which was helpful later when we were out on our own. The e-bikes provide a great, easy option for exploring a city that has a lot of hills. Would definitely recommend this experience!

I was very impressed by Valentina’s professionalism and attention to detail. There was a great deal of care taken to ensure that all participants were briefed on how to use the eBike correctly. It was fascinating to listen to Valentina discuss all the historical aspects of the tour in detail. Clearly this was an attempt to ensure that we got an appropriate amount of accurate information without overloading or becoming boring. During the tour our guide was regularly checking that everyone was safe and able to manage the pace that had been set by the group. Without Valentina’s help, some of the sights observed might have been missed on a self guided tour. This was an excellent experience with many great photo opportunities.

Valentina showed us around a small part of Cagliari. It was a perilous journey on the small, hilly streets with cars, scooters, buses and people coming at us from all directions. We wished we’d seen more and had less stops. My husband and another gentleman were left behind at one point when the leader turned so quickly at a light they didn’t make it. There wasn’t enough checking to see if the small group of six were all together. When she did go back to look for them, she returned to say she didn’t see them anywhere. The man’s wife texted her husband and he told us where they were-right at that light where she made the fast turn. Because of this setback and all the talking at religious sites, our coffee break was cut short since she had back to back tours. Maybe less talking, more biking, and don’t schedule tours so tightly.

Dear Eileen, I'm really sorry about your review and I think that is important to specify more. The part of the city that we visited is the old town and, of course, Cagliari is a small city, but we did all the stops that are in the description of the tour. I have to respect all the stops that are part of the tour and I have to explain also the story of the monuments and the churches because this is part of the tour that you booked like the other travelers who were part of the group. About your definition “perilous journey”, this is a city tour in the old town and we don’t have a lot of cycle path in the medieval part of the city, but it’s a really small and quiet city and only for about 5 minutes we stayed in the traffic. About your husband that was left behind, I have to remember that in every stop, before to continue to ride, I told you what we’re going to do, and there I told you that we’re going to cross the street, turned on the left and then on the right (20 meters after), but, of course, is necessary to listen and to follow the group. About the coffee break we did that and we stayed there for 15 minutes. We fished the tour 20 minutes later and I had to ask at the other group to move the tour 30 minutes later for this reason. With a great pleasure I did more then was included, as I do when it’s possible, as you can read in all our reviews. We do also private tours and maybe, next time, is better for you. In a private tour you can decide to skip the stops, to pedal more and to see different things, but in a tour that you share is necessary to respect all the members of the group.
