Overview

Join this small group tour, max 20, and see the highlights of Australia’s capital city of Canberra. You’ll see the views from the top of Mount Ainslie, visit the NA Exhibition Center, visit the Parliament House, Australian War Museum and have the experience of seeing the Lost Post Ceremony. Our guide, Neil, provided context to everything that we saw, as well as keeping the messaging light. Travel throughout the city went by very quickly as a result. Tour became very much interactive question and answer with contextual relevance provided by guide.

Best Wine Tour EVER

This was by far the best experience I’ve had on a wine vineyard tour. Laura was fantastic!! She discussed the different varieties of grapes grown in the area and types of wine that the area is known for, Laura knows her stuff. She was also very familiar with all the vineyards we went to and the owners and employees. I felt like I was part of the wine family at each vineyard. Her vehicle was a beautiful black SUV very comfortable with seats that cooled. I have been on wine tours in US all over Europe, New Zealand and Australia, this was the BEST. Laura was AMAZING. You won’t be disappointed!

Our Guide Bob was very good and very knowledgeable was exceptional tour was interesting from the time we were picked up. We had a nice lunch at Parliament house, not included but it was very good. If you can do it straight away you have an idea of where you wish to return to. We revisited the war memorial as there was just not enough time. Highlight was the Last post ceremony. Definately value for money.

Excellent tour with Ian. (No doubt other experienced guides are available.) Very full coverage of key locations at comfortable pace. Ian very knowledgeable and informative. We had the unexpected pleasure of being able to join the wreath laying ceremony and remember distant Aussie relatives who lost their lives in both World Wars.

Touring the Australian War Museum was informative and moving. Touring the Houses of Parliament (both old and new) gave depth to my understating of the Commonwealth. Our guide, Simon, was friendly, welcoming and had a vast store of information which he shared with us. One improvement would be to give the guide a means of amplifying his commentary as some was lost to traffic noise, etc.
