Overview

It’s not just the skiing and climbing that makes Chamonix a world-class adventure destination: the area is famous for paragliding, too. Take to the air in perfect safety from 3,900 feet (2,100 meters) on a tandem flight with an instructor. Savor spectacular views of the Alps as your pilot manipulates the wing to ride the air currents from Plan Praz or Plan de l’Aiguille (cable-car ticket not included).

What To Expect

Meet at the designated meeting location in Chamonix a little before your takeoff time for this Alps tandem paragliding flight. Keep in mind that this experience takes off from an area that you need to purchase a ticket for the cable car to ride it up to the location.

Once you’re at the meeting spot, get a short introduction course from your instructor and put on a provided helmet so you’re ready to go. Your tandem flight takes off through the Alps, giving you stunning views of Europe’s popular mountain range.

After you make it back to land, you can choose to purchase an HD video of your flight (own expense) if you’d like it as a souvenir.

MEETING POINT: in front of the cable car ticket office. We do not have an office or desk there. Just wait there and the pilots will come.

If weather (wind or rain) does not allow a safe flight, you will be refunded

Do not write or call us to inform that you arrived. Do so only if you are late
Pilots might be up to 10 min late. Don't worry, they will come and look for you.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I took my wife and 2 kids (17,18) and this was an incredible experience. The crew was very safety conscience to the point that we almost did not get to go due to a little wind. They were also very friendly and supportive, and made my wife who was nervous feel comfortable. The views were amazing. I highly recommend this activity if you find yourself in Chamonix!

I am so glad I pushed through the anxiety of doing something new and gave this a try. It was a lot more relaxing than I thought it would be. The instructor helped explained things in a manner that made this easy. Worth every penny!

An amazing day in the mountains! In awe of the whole experience. Felt very safe the whole time in the air. Hugh was a great guide and very helpful on local information and planning out the rest of my day in Chamonix! Flew over a glacier, waterfalls, stunning alpine vistas, and had some fun at the end. An unforgettable experience.

I had an amazing experience. Unfortunately I was very disappointed that I paid for the Video/Photos since 1) the GoPro he used was cracked & 2) when I went to upload the Sim Card, there was nothing on it so I essentially wasted $30.00.

Hello, I'm sorry. to hear that. It happens sometimes: eletronic is never 100% reliable ! But instead of giving us a bad review, just ask for a refund next time, this is what we always do when the video is not working.

I had an amazing flight with my pilot, Mathieu. I felt a bit nervous going up in the cable car but once in the air, it was the most relaxing and freeing feeling. Mathieu left me feeling very at ease and very safe, and he was kind enough to point out the different peaks as we were gliding. He was so nice and didn’t seem to mind my incessant chatting.
