What To Expect

Your evening begins at the Studio W.I.P. located in Chicago’s vibrant Uptown neighborhood at your chosen start time, equipped with your drinks of choice (if you choose). This hands-on graffiti and urban art workshop welcomes participants of all skill levels to explore the vibrant world of street art.

Meet your local guest artists who teach diverse street art techniques, from stenciling to spray painting. The workshop encourages creativity and self-expression, allowing you to craft your unique artwork. At the end of class, choose a mini-canvas to take home with you.

The 90-minute interactive session ends at the studio.

It’s like experiencing a little part of what’s going on in the city with the street art. Very nice they take the time to introduce us to the basics of how to use cans. The vibe is super nice and so was the instructor.

We had a blast, they give you a couple of great lessons. Justin was awesome walking around giving us tips as well while we painted. Super encouraging and friendly. Would totally go back!!

Family fun

Our family had a great time. It was creative and fun, and we made amazing memories. Constructively, I think there's slight room for improvement. The color choices were limited and many of the cans were low or empty. Replacements weren't the exact same colors match. We also thought we'd be provided masks like shown in photos as PPE was advertised. Overall, we loved it. We learned quite a bit in a short period and time flew. We'd book again.

Well organized- started and ended on time. Great option for all skill levels. Clear instructions. Only minor complaint is that you might spend a while walking around and finding a color of spray paint that hasn’t been used up yet. Stencils could stand to be replaced. Overall a great time!

Excellent Experience

I decided to book this as a birthday/Valentine’s activity and am very glad I did. Our teacher was informative and the demonstrations he provided were helpful when creating our pieces. The only critique is that the class was very full so sharing paint cans was a little frustrating and some of colors weren’t available because we ran out of paint. But overall this was a great experience. The bags that were provided to carry our pieces (which had the studio’s logo on it) were a nice touch. I highly recommend.

The instructor was amazing. It was a great experience learning about street art. The instructor was very encouraging and made you feel good about your work..... even if you didn't like your own piece :-). Highly recommend this experience even if you don't think you are very creative.
