What To Expect

There are few things more enjoyable than a leisurely sunset cruise. Whether it’s a romantic evening out, a party or celebration with friends and family, or a relaxing time for reflection, Florida’s sunsets off its western coast are famous for providing some of the best views in the world.

This double-decker catamaran ship leaves from Clearwater Bay and heads into the Gulf of Mexico. Listen and learn as the captain shares the interesting facts and history of the Gulf Coast region.

Admire the sunset sky, which can oftentimes look like a painting with its brilliant streaks of color. Watch closely as dusk arrives and the sun begins to fade and gently lower into the horizon. The boat is perfectly positioned, so bring a camera to capture this incredible view. Be sure to watch for the green flash, an optical phenomenon that sometimes occurs right after sunset. When the conditions are right, a green spot is visible just above the upper rim of the sun.

A Champagne toast is included on this sunset cruise. Beer, wine and soft drinks can be purchased on board. Return to port after almost two hours on the water.

Nice time - nothing fancy. Try to board early because upstairs area fills up quickly. Boat doesn’t go very far out in the ocean, but crew provides some interesting commentary along the way.

Booked last minute, very good communication with them to find their location. It wasn't great weather, however it was still a great boat ride and a nice sunset. The crew are very friendly and professional. Although the do not guarantee dolphin sightings, we saw quite a few! I highly recommend this cruise!

Not safe

They do not have the benches of the boat bolted down. The captain decided to make a sharp turn in the middle of a wave and the bench literally flipped over and the force of this threw my friend several feet onto her face. My purse with all of my valuables went overboard. There were several elderly people that were injured. Very irresponsible on behalf of the crew!! Thankfully there weren’t any broken bones, but someone could’ve very easily broken a hip or had a serious injury.
