    What To Expect

    Select a 24-, 48-, 72-, 96-, or 120-hour Copenhagen Card on booking. Then, type in the barcode number in the Copenhagen Card app on your smartphone and redeem your card.

    Valid for the stated numbers of hours from when the time you first use it, this great little card helps you make the most of Denmark’s charming capital, with free entry to Copenhagen’s major attractions and complimentary travel on the city's buses, trains, and Metro services.

    Privileges include entrance to the intriguing Amalienborg Museum to see its recreated royal palace interiors, and complimentary admission to the extravagant Rosenborg Palace, built by King Christian IV in the 1600s.

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

    Viator saved me- CPH app does not accept US Credit Cards

    I went to buy this copenhagen card on the app and the website- neither paypal or my credit crs would be accepted. Viator took my order and processed it for me and I was able to redeem the voucher for the card. Without Viator, I would not have been able to purchase this card with US funds. Thanks viator.

    Great experience with the card. Great to just walk in, show your barcode on your phone and go straight in. So smooth and easy. We ended up finishing things earlier than planned on multiple days so we looked at what else was included and did some extra unplanned activities!

    We are here for a week so with careful planning this card is great - especially with the public transport included. Make sure to download the Copenhagen Card app first and then group your attractions by location. It includes the top 5 closest castles and palaces as well as Roskilde, Viking Museum, Tivoli, and Glyptoteket! Already we are saving money trying other little places we may have missed.

    I visited so many attractions with this card and includes transport as well, which is only a plus to visit Palaces outside Copenaghen. It should only costs less than what it does in my humble opinion.

    Great card, easy to use. I spent about 150$ Canadian for a 3 day card, and hit up 12 attractions. I did the math, I probably saved more than half by using this card.

    I loved seeing the country as we traveled to the various locations! It’s beautiful! The bus driver was funny and informative and a pleasure to listen to. The Castle was so interesting and the old buildings are beautiful. A different lifetime for sure. I loved the thatch roofs! No idea they still existed today. The beautiful big homes along the ocean were a surprise and lovely to look at. Walking through the shops and experiencing some of the food was a delight. We will be back!

    Worked well once we figured out how to activate the card. Never did figure out how to check on at train stations. Luckily we were never stopped

When the card is activated (swiped) in the app you can use public transportations as musch as you want to while the card is valid. They will check that the QR-code in the app is active if there is a control. Hope seeing you back again.

    Not worth getting unless you know the train and bus systems. I live in a city that dies not have a rail stay so it made it hard to navigate so I didn’t bother. You had to know where the bus routes went and that was also had to navigate. I only used it to go to Tivoli so to me it was a waste of money. When I purchased the card it included the hop on hop off bus and canal cruise but they gave now introduced the HOP card which included everything I wanted to do.

    Card was very easy to use and quick to scan. We enjoyed the Round Tower, Stromma Canal boat tour, the Tube photo experience, and Tivoli Gardens at night.

    The card was easy to purchase and have on your phone. Every vendor recognized it and we didn’t have a problem, it was very easy to show and go in. Only thing that didn’t work well was the public transportation

It is normally very well-functioning. Though, this week we have had very bad weather conditions with storm and rain and the public transportation have been affected by that. It might have been the issue.

    Good opportunity to visit many places in Copenhagen and to move easy and relatively fast. Please try to used the websites of visited objectives and to make reservation before your visit

    Nice to hear that you have visited a lot of attractions and museums in Copenhagen and came easily around. It is a good recommendation to pre-book a timeslot at some of the attractions. You must pre-book for Amalienborg and Rosenborg Castles and for Our Savior's Church. At all other attractions you can just show up.

    The travelcard is definitely worth the money as we were able to get all over the city with it during our stay. The discovery card gets you into 80 attractions but unless you have the time probably isn't worth getting.
