  • Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu has a lot of step to climb, be sure to wear the right footwear.
  • Take with you a small back pack with a cap, sunscreen lotion, repellent and water.
  • When the guided tour ends, take a deep breath and enjoy that "one in the lifetime" magic moment you’ll be living.
  • Only 7 Kg luggage is allowed in the train.
  • In Peak Season is possible to queue, so be patient.
  • Don’t forget to dive in the thermal baths in Aguas Calientes.
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems

      Its a long day but...

      Its a long day but totally worth it. the tour guide met with us at the hotel the night before to give us the tickets and go step by step through the tour. Edgar (the driver) and Juan Carlos ( the tour guide) were both great. Huayna Picchu is a steep trail and narrow at some points but the tour guide stopped and multiple points so that we could catch out breath and continue on. Our train back was delayed 1.5 hours because a tree obstructed the train tracks and even though the company (Peru Rail) were terrible at giving updates and providing information I informed the tour guide through whatsapp and the driver was still waiting for us when we got to Ollantaytambo

      Paid £400 for wayna and Machu pichu only for the guide to go home at 1230 after wayna and leave me alone to do Machu pichu by my self

      Simply put it’s worth it, Eduardo Met with us the night before and provided the tickets and I information needed for the next day, you get picked up at 4am, take a van ride for about 1.5 hrs then hope on the peru rail for another 1.5 hrs, you arrive in Machu Picchu town where your local guide is waiting for you, Noe was awesome, you take a van ride up to Machu Picchu about 20 min, we opted for the Huayna Picchu hike, I believe most people will be able to do it if you take it at your own pace, you will have time for lunch/dinner back in town before you get back on the train around 4:30pm and everything in reverse

      Eine Tour die sensationell organisiert war! Der Guide der mich am Machu Picchu und der Bergbesteigung begleitet war eine absolute Sensation! Fachwissen, Hilfsbereit, sehr gutes Englisch, Mega freundlich! Auf meine Wünsche, frühere Rückfahrt wurde umgehend und unkompliziert reagiert! Der ganze Ausflug war ein Traum!!!
