    Check-in is at our kiosk down the hill. Look for the banana boat ride sign on the kiosk. Parking is at 314 Harbor Blvd. Follow instructions on the sign in the parking lot to pay for parking. (We are not located in the Happys Watersports Trailer)

This experience was truly disappointing. Despite making reservations over three weeks in advance, I received a call just four hours before my trip, informing me that they didn't have enough people and wouldn't be taking the boat out. It would have been much appreciated if they had notified me at least 24 hours in advance, allowing me to make alternative arrangements. It feels unjust that app operators can cancel anytime without consequences, while customers aren't allowed to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice.

It was fun. We had a little bit of a hard time finding the check in. But we called the help number and found it. It started right on time. They found where the dolphins were and we got great video. Trying to snap a picture was next to impossible. I recommend a video. Safety was important as the water was rough and the driver opted to stay out of the gulf. It lasted about an hour on our trip. So Fun.

Deceptive listing

While this ride was fun and we got to see a lot of dolphins, it was definitely not what we were expecting. I booked it from a listing that says it included wine and snacks and it was a totally different type of boat than was pictured in the listing. The ride was nice and we enjoyed it, but the listing was very deceptive.

I am glad you had a great time with Screaming Eagle Sports. It does say in the confirmation there is a Sno Shack beside our kiosk to grab sno cones, and snacks. Its possible you read a different description of a boat charter that does serve wine. We do allow customers to bring drinks and snacks on board. We are glad you had a good time with us even if you booked the wrong charter. We hope you consider coming back again.

Highly recommend. Fun experience, was able to see multiple dolphins and a beautiful sunset. Our Guides were great and gave special attention to the kids in our group - making it a memorable experience for everyone.

This cruise was GREAT!! The Captain and his mate were friendly and knowledgeable..took out slowly then went straight to the Dolphins..then he revved up the engine and took us on a fun high speed boat ride around the area we were in..Highly recommend!

It was really fun! Make sure you get there at least 30 minutes early and wait by their kiosk! We went on the day after Christmas and it was cold, but super fun and worth it. They did a good job.

We are glad you had a great time. We are sorry they had to come in early due to rain. Customers receive a confirmation email about arriving 30 minutes early, however when a customer shows up right at the time the boat should be leaving, it delays the trip. They face you guys a call at 3:45 to see if you needed help finding us. On days there is a chance of showers, if all customers are on time, meaning arriving 20 to 30 min early, the crew is then able to leave a few min early. We are glad the trip was fun and that you got to see dolphins. The crew wanted to make sure to get back before the rain hit so that the customers didn’t get drenched. We hope you make plans to book with us again.

We booked this ride from previous reviews. However we did not have a “fun/entertaining/informational” boat ride…. We were greeted by a young girl & guy… (They are the”cutest couple” but appeared to be the only ones on the boat) They talked to us as we left the dock and didn’t talk to us at all the whole excursion… They both sat in the same chair on the boat…. Their backs to us the entire ride…. and were engaging with each other ONLY and that’s it!! You’d think they would interact/inform the passengers of what we were doing and where we were going…. We only saw dolphins from the other boats pointing them out…. I’ve never been on an excursion quite like this before…. Where the tour guides do not even speak to you?? As it was time to go back to the dock, they did tell us…. tips would be appreciated?? Several passengers on the boat was wondering what we should tip them for??… ignoring us the whole ride? Again, Nothing fun about this “sunset/dolphin cruise” ….. It was more of a simple boat ride….Nothing special for sure…. DO NOT Recommend !! Not worth the money for sure!!

As you saw, by our 5-star rating and reviews, most of our customers have an excellent time. Our sunset dolphin cruise in Destin Florida is just that. We provide a one-hour dolphin sunset cruise with amazing views of the most beautiful sunsets, dolphins playing in the beautiful emerald green waters, listening to our wonderful playlist cruising through the Gulf of Mexico in a fun speedboat. Our crew does their best at interacting with our customers, ensuring that we always put safety first. The captain and deckhand's number one priority is watching boat traffic, making sure passengers are safe, watching and listening to the boat to avoid mechanical issues or breakdowns, monitoring the radio for dolphin locations, etc... There is a great deal of "behind the scenes work" that goes on that customers may not realize. The Screaming Eagle is a 14-passenger vessel that requires, per the USCG, a licensed master captain and one deckhand. The maximum capacity with the Captain and deckhand is 16. "The young guy and girl," are the Captain and deckhand and are the only two that are required to be on the vessel due to the size. The conversation at the dock you and my crew had was about singing Happy Birthday to your friend during the trip. Along with you and your two friends, we had 5 other groups on board the public, not private, cruise you booked, making it a full boat, as well as, someone else with a birthday. After boarding our vessel, the captain has to carefully pull out of the boat slip and is required to give a safety speech. The captain and deckhand are required to steer and watch while maneuvering through our harbor without making wake. At times it can be quite congested with boat traffic, most of which are a mix of enormous commercial vessels that have the right away and pontoon rentals that sometimes can have inexperienced drivers on board. Idling in and out of the harbor is the best opportunity our crew has to do their best at interacting with all 14 customers on board while also prioritizing safety and operating the vessel. While leaving out of the harbor, they asked everyone where they were from, and how long they were here. They learned you and your friends were from Kansas. Mind you, you have about 8 minutes to interact with everyone on board before going into the pass as well as, the captain giving his required speech. While entering the pass, the captain tells everyone to hang on to their hats and sunglasses. The engine starts to roar as the boat gains momentum. The captain and deckhand at this time, are monitoring the boat, watching for boat traffic, and gazing at the water for dolphins. This is a time to take in the beautiful sunset and enjoy the thrill ride, with the wind blowing through your hair. Once you are out in the Gulf of Mexico, the commercial dolphin cruise charters all communicate over a radio. If one vessel spots dolphins, all the other boat charters join so that everyone gets a chance to view the dolphins. Unfortunately, we have no control over where the dolphins choose to play. Our captain and deckhand make sure everyone gets to view them while also, maneuvering the boat in the waves and watching for other boats, etc. During this time, the crew plays music and lets everyone enjoy watching the dolphins while viewing the sunset. After viewing the dolphins, the captain cruises the Gulf Of Mexico to give everyone a thrill ride. Once the boat powers down and after coming back into the harbor, the crew uses this time to engage with the customers. They tell everyone great places to eat and on this particular trip, they said Dewey Destins, Harbor Docks, McGuires, and Donut Hole for desserts. During this particular trip, they sang Happy Birthday to your friend as well as, the other little girl who also had a birthday. They also let the little girl help drive the boat through the harbor. They also use some of the 8 minutes of coming into the harbor to give their tip speech. I am sorry you did not have a good time. We provide a happy mix of a one-hour sunset dolphin cruise with information, interaction, music, a picturesque sunset, the viewing of playful dolphins, and a thrill ride. Unfortunately, our crew does not provide a juggling act and jumping through rings of fire. I guess maybe we are "a simple boat ride," but we must be doing something right as you can tell by our awesome reviews and 5-star ratings.

This may be one of my favorite memories ever. Logan and Saren were great crew members and really helped make the experience. Saw a lot of dolphins, a beautiful sunset and got to ride around in the speed boat! Very memorable and worth it, I loved every second.
