We had a nice time. Ian was personable, organized, and did a nice job matching the trek to our skill and fitness level. He picked us up at the port on time and dropped us off in plenty of time before our ship's departure. The excursion was enjoyable and rewarding.

Had a most enjoyable guided walk led by Ian along the cliff tops on the south side of the island. Ian picked me up from my hotel in Douglas exactly when he communicated that he would, and we then traveled to the start of the walk picking 4 other walkers along the way. The weather was perfect - sunny and not too hot for only a mildly strenuous walk. Great group of walkers that was well led by Ian. He also leads walks in other parts of the island at other levels of difficulty. I definitely recommend this offering as a way to get out and enjoy the clean and clear Isle of Man air.

Absolutely brilliant!
Even before the tour began, Ian communicated with us by email and assured us that he would meet us in Douglas (main town of Isle of Man) where we would arrive by tender from our cruise ship. Then the night before, the Captain of our cruise changed the port to Port Erin due to strong winds and poor rainy weather expected. So, I anxiously reached out to Ian by email and he calmly replied that he would meet us at our new location ( as it was very close to his house) and advised us that we were now the only folks talking the tour. We managed to get on the first tender and quickly found Ian. He had a nice mini bus that could seat 8 so we had lots of room to spread out. As the weather was very rainy and cool he suggested that he would drive us around to some of the sights and if the weather improved we could add in some walks. Well the weather only worsened so we saw all the sights by bus stopping several times to get out and walk through a museum or a church or a graveyard. All the while, Ian regaled us with stories, answered all of our questions and was a all around a great chap to spend the day with. When in the Isle of Man, you owe it to yourself to book a tour with Ian

Ian was a wonderful guide to the spectacular scenery. He was a good conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the island.
