    Amazing Dessert Experience. A must

    We booked this company, and was amazed by the service, that we received from Ali. He met us at the hotel, in a luxury 4x4, and we ventured out to the dessert, Firstly Ali invited us to purchase some head scalves to protect us from the sand, great souvenir to bring back to the UK. We were a family of 4, so we rented the sand dune buggy, again excellent service with professional guides, and great fun. It was then time for the sand bashing in Ali's 4x4 great fun, Ali should have been a Grand Prix driver. It was then time for dinner, were Ali advised us to get our starter, and then a full on BBQ and live show. It was a magical day

    Much room for improvement in planning and arrangement

    The tour guide (originally from Pakistan) picked me and my mom at the requested location on time and made a lot of effort to ensure that we bring home with lots of nice pictures, but that's it. There are 4 of us in the tour - my mom and I, and another married couple from the UK who is fluent in both English and a Pakistan dialect that the guide speaks. Most of the time, the tour guide gave instructions (e.g. what time to meet and gather) to the British couple in that dialect and did not address me and my mom; luckily the British couple repeated the instructions to us. The guide was also clearly disappointed that none of us join the quad bike (with additional charge) or buy the scarf at the shop. We were then left idle at the quad camp site from 4:00pm-5:20pm - it was an entirely waste of our previous time. Sunset and safari ride was great - got to experience the best of what this part of Dubai offers. We then need to rush to the camp site just in time to enjoy the show. Buffet was a challenge since there are hundreds of us and only 2 buffet lines were opened. After the amazing performances and I especially enjoyed the fire show, we were given a camal ride of less than 5 minutes. My mom also need to squeeze time for a hanna draw. On our way back to the hotel, the guide also pressured us into giving him good reviews by immediately sending us a review link on Whatsapp. I said that I was not able to post the review now because I forgot the password to the Viator account, which was absolutely true. All in all, the camp itself was avergae, performances are captivating. But the overall experience was made disastrous because of the lack of planning and professionalism by the guide.
