This desert safari takes you to the red dunes outside Dubai for an action-packed day of adventure. First, go dune bashing with a professional driver at the wheel. Then relax at a Bedouin camp where you can enjoy activities such as camel riding, sandboarding, henna painting, shisha, and a belly dancing show. The 7-hour experience also includes a full barbecue buffet dinner (vegetarian options available).

Pickup from any hotel or location within Dubai city Port Rashid (cruise terminal) is included in the tour. Pickup from Jabel Ali, Dubai Investments Park, Sharjah, Ajman will be available on request for an additional cost based on your location. Guests must be ready for pickup 45 minutes before tour start time.

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems

  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • All vehicles are fully insured and equipped with safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government tracker, GPS, GMS and a first aid box.
  • Dune bashing is not suitable for pregnant women and any guests with back or neck problems
  • Infants (below 3 years old) & pregnant women's are strictly not allowed on the tour due to health/safety measures
  • The program is subject to change due to religious seasons or other circumstances, which may prevent certain activities from taking place.
  • The camp features designated areas for Shisha smoking. Additional charge will apply if Shisha is required at the tables.
  • Limited Henna designs are complimentary. Custom designs which takes longer time to draw will be additionally charged.
  • Falcons may not be available at the camp during hotter months (mainly in July & August)
  • Please note private vehicle option is for maximum 6 persons/ per vehicle.
  • Quad biking segment is solely the participant’s responsibility. Guests are recommended to take precautions when driving as any damage, injuries sustained, or items lost during quad biking are not covered by insurance.
  • The duration of this activity is 7-hours, which include travel and pick-up time to drop-off back to your hotel.
  • Kindly share your WhatsApp number for an easy communication during the pickup
  • We recommend you have international travel insurance as quad bike activities are prone to risk, leading to serious injury & is covered only by your insurance companies
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 200 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Desert Safari - Touristy, but do it anyway!

Expectations not met

Concerns: Company was aware they were fourteen adults taking part in this event. The company provided two (2) SUV’s. We had adult pinched in the third- row seat of which is typically not a seat three adults can sit comfortably, giving a 45mintues drive from the hotel to the initial stop. The driver seemed to be rushing the guest during the sand ski and photos because they were 30 minutes late and one of the drivers literally almost turn over one of the SUVs with the passenger in it.

Great experience! Our tour guide Ismail was very knowledgeable and friendly and constantly made sure we were comfortable and pleased. Pickup and drop off were as expected and our tour guide constantly communicated with us. This is an experience that can’t be missed when in Dubai and this particular tour was excellent!

We had a very good time on this trip. The dune bashing was very exciting, and our guide was very professional. The desert was even more beatiful than we expected and the temperature (December) was also very bearable. You better pack a light sweater, because it gets cold in the evening, come dinnertime.

Fun in the Dubai Desert

Despite coming to Dubai for the past 15 year I never took the time to go to the desert. I finally went with my family and it was a great experience. We opted for a private car and we were so lucky to snatch the best possible Driver Asfee. Asfee not only was a great driver/guide but he also was attentive and willing to help out. His english really good and very perdonable. The ride was so much fun and the view of the desert at sunset amazing. The camp site experience was fine and food could be improved. Overall a great experience thanks to Asfee and nature!

The dune bashing was fun (although some people in my car got sick) and I especially liked the sandsurfing and fotos in the dunes. Our guide Mr. Brown took great pictures of us! The camel ride was short but could have been repeated, but it also really was just done by the tour for the pictures. The camp was ok, the food was ok (I didn‘t try the meat since I don‘t eat it but great variety of salads). The show was really good, but shot. Overal the camp experience felt a Little rushed though. I would recommend it but don‘t expect too much or a unique experience. Mr. Brown was a great guide though!

The Tour was fantastic! The food at the Bedouin Camp was great, and the entertainment was good. The desert sand activities were fun and very unique. The guide was with us the entire time and was very good!

Abass was our guide on this tour and it was AMAZING! I would consider it a must do if you are in Dubai. The dune bashing was the best part and worth the cost. I would recommend this tour and try to get Abass if you can!

Me and my newly engaged girlfriend enjoyed this trip very much!! It started off a bit slow, and had a messy moment during the pick-up, but once it started, it had everything - with the only disappointment that we were picked up as the last couple of three, and those we were forced to sit in the very back of the car/truck. I can for sure let everyone know that it is a different feeling sitting in the far back compared to the other seats, but we weren't able to decide upon that so I guess that was just some bad luck for us. Anyway, nice ambience during the night, nice tours in the desert, and the food was also great. They also managed to wrap together all that they promised. We would very much recommend this trip to anyone that travels to Dubai. It is magical and totally worth the money!

Excellente sortie dans les dunes avec le prestataire local Dream Journey. Le chauffeur vient nous récupérer devant l’hôtel ensuite direction le désert de sable rouge à 1h du centre de Dubai. Après le tour dans les dunes en 4x4 photos au coucher de soleil et snowboard dans les dunes. Repas dans un camp situé dans le désert. Le show est super (cracheur de feu, danseurs,…) N’hésitez à prendre la formule premium pour avoir une table perso et être servis table. Notre guide Bishy était au top, agréable et bienveillant tout le long de la prestation.
