Emmanuelle (sp?) was an excellent tour guide. I visited the museum first to gain a basic understanding of the Operation, and this tour immediately afterwards was highly complimentary. Seeing the locations with narration was absolutely worth the price. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions; the guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered them all. The driver was also very professional and the drive was comfortable.

It was very interesting getting the French perspective of the evacuation. Alyce was fantastic, the weather not so great . She also took us to the street from the opening scene of the Dunkirk movie which we enjoyed, and then to get a better look at the East mole and English cemetery. Very interesting day. Thankyou

Emmanuel gave a very good tour of the Dunkirk Beach Battle Area and the Story. He was well informed of the events leading up to the dramatic evacuation. He also includes a nice tour of the city of Dunkirk and many of its notable buildings and their history.
One suggestion would be to expand the tour to include the battles around the defensive position that the British and French held that enabled the evacuation: Gravelines, AA Canal and then the ever shrinking perimeter.

Fred was a wonderful tour guide and a treasure trove of information. You could tell he really enjoyed the history and provided enough color and details to make individual stories and events feel vivid and real.

Elise gave us a wonderful tour of Operation Dynamo. She went the extra mile to make our tour interesting, even showing us the grave of the soldier from South Africa. She was very knowledgeable about the history of her town. I will definitely recommend this tour for anybody interested in history.

It was an amazing tour. Emmanuel was personable and very patient with all our questions. We got to see several locations related to the battle and along with his knowledge of the time period it made it an experience we will remember for years. Well worth it!!!!
