We enjoyed the variety of wines and wineries and thought the ones selected (Xecue, Vina de Frannes, Lechuza, El Cielo) were great choices for us. We loved our lunch spot - Finca Altozano. Driving through the area was quite fascinating and showed the variety of lodging in the Valle as well as wineries and restaurants. The outdoor seating available at each location and all the unique and beautiful plants added to our enjoyment. Our guide, Victor, was excellent and provided some background, history and tips which we appreciated.

Great experience

Patrick our coordinator was great. He asked what type of wineries we wanted to visit, what we were looking for and was able to set up an itinerary that kept the day filled. Our driver Dalí, was awesome. Provided recommendations, not just for the wineries we were visiting but for future plans. Very knowledgeable and provided history of Valle. 10/10 would recommend booking again.

The folks at Ansell Wine Tours were very accommodating in generating our specific tour based on our timing and wine preferences. Communication was excellent! Our tour guide, Victor, was so nice and very knowledgeable. When we took a little longer than planned at our tastings, he easily adjusted our last stop to make sure we got back to the port on time.

From the initial contact to the drop off back at our ship everything was on point. Communication was amazing, they tailored the excursion to what we were looking for. Victor met us right on time and gave us great history and was knowledgeable about the entire wine county. We enjoyed the wineries and Victor's recommendation for lunch. It was a fun and relaxing day and we didn't have to fight cruise ship crowds!

Our tour guide Dali was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, knowledable, and fun. We enjoyed our experience in the Valle so much and got to enjoy some delicious tacos at a locals spot that our guide recommended! We would absolutely use Ansell again for another tour of the Valle.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Paola was great with communication while personalizing our itinerary and made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth tour experience. Dali was our tour guide/driver and was so informative and great to hang out with throughout the day. He stayed in constant communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. Would def do this tour again but try new wineries and restaurants. Do not hesitate to check them out next time you're in Valle.

Loved going to Bruma wine garden (amazing food) and Decantos. Skip Vena Cava as it's too far away and wines were not great. Our Driver Dali was friendly and flexible. Our only issue was when we're ready to go to the next place, he was hard to find as he was parked and was not pulled up and waiting. Also the tiny jetta was a very tight squeeze for 4 grown adults. I'd recommend you asking for larger vehicle when you book if there's more than 2 in your party. Overall our Driver knew the history of the region and the workers at the various vineyards. He was cautious and safe, so nothing was a rush.

We had a blast on our wine/restaurant tour. He has a amazing tour guide(Emanuel) he was a local so he new a lot of Valles history and best places to eat and drink. I would definitely go back and use them again.

We were picked up outside the port area where Emanuel was waiting for us. He was very polite and took us to 2 wineries and 2 breweries. It was the best experience we had. We would not have known to visit the places we did if it were not for the assistance of Ansell Wine Tours. They were able to accomodate our request of wine and beer which worked best for my husband's taste and mine. Will use them again when we return to Ensenada.

Our driver, Emmanuel, made our day outstanding! As a local to the Valle, he knows all the best things. Our original itinerary looked good but once we spoke with Emmanuel, he had a couple of custom recommendations. Every stop was better than the last!
