Overview

Wine taste your way through the Valle de Guadalupe (Guadalupe Valley) and visit the Wine Museum of Baja California on this tour from Enseñada. Stop at various wineries in the valley to tour the properties and learn about their methods of production, then opt to taste some of the local fare at your own expense. At the Wine Museum, stroll through the displays that show the history of wine production since the arrival of the missionaries. Important -Departure time 10:00 a.m. -Tolerance for late parties is 15 minutes. -Pickup any hotel in City of Ensenada -Pickup any hotel in Valle de Guadalupe -Pickup Airbnb in City of Ensenada and/or Valle de Guadalupe -Pickup Vacational rentals in City of Ensenada and/or Valle de Guadalupe Cruise Ship Visitors / Meeting Point CENTRO CULTURAL RIVIERA DIRECTIONS TO GET TO THE CENTRO CULTURAL RIVIERA simply walk straight from the cruise ship dock towards the direction of the town about 15 min, pass the last control booth (not cross any bridge), cross the main street with the name Ave. Lazaro Cardenas, and you will find the Riviera Cultural Center in front of you. It's a big white Spanish-colonial style building. Please enter INSIDE the building. Our guides will meet you at the main door of the building.

I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Sam, was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She gave not only great information about the wineries and the area, but also made recommendations for places to eat near our boat. The wineries we visited had not only quality wine, but also such welcoming hosts for each tasting. We enjoyed the entire day including the delicious meal at the end. Thank you again to Sam!

Eugenia was amazing! She clearly communicated prior to our trip, selected a meeting spot, and sent a photo of herself to make the meetup easy. Taking the personal wine tour was an absolute delight! Eugenia was not only knowledgeable about the wines but also passionate about the Gaudalupe Valley, making the experience incredibly enjoyable. A great way to see and taste the Valle

This is a great option whether it's your first time in the Valle, or you've been a few times like we have. We were able to customize our route to pick out some places we've never been (but their options are great if you've never done the Valle before). They helped us secure winery reservations at each location, build out a schedule and our guide Adrian was really helpful in identifying different places to try our next time around. I think I left with about 15 new places to try! We were very happy with our experience and we'll definitely use them again the next time we hit the Valle.

Our guide, Adrian, picked us up at the hotel at 10 am and we returned at 5:30 pm. At first, we were doubtful about a 7'5/hour wine tasting tour. After all, how much tasting can one do in a day? We went to two different wineries (Santo Tomas and Cruz) and took our time savoring wine and even meeting fun people who were on other winery tours. We then went to lunch at "Salvage," which was in a stunning setting in the valle. We had a seafood dish that came in a large pot with an incredible sauce, the order was for 4 people and we convinced Adrian to join us. The starter was cornbread in a luscious mole sauce. After lunch we proceeded to our final wine tasting at Casta. The winemaker there, Claudia, made a Grenache that is heavenly. She is donating the proceeds from the Grenache to breast cancer research so we bought this and another delicious blend. The tour says 4 wineries, but we were to full and content to do the fourth. This is an absolutely fantastic tour. Do it!

Disappointing Wine tour

Having a driver was a positive but we thought we would have a shuttle bus, not a small private car. $76 for driver is too much money, no tastings were included and one of the wineries Las Misiones was not upscale experience.

If you would prefer to be in a bus full of people with all included, you should choose another kind of tour. We had a wonderful time in the Valle de Guadalupe. The Wine Route tour was very well organized and we were able to visit 8 wineries over two days. Eugenia and Sam (our guides) were so knowledgeable about the wine and wineries in the area. They even organized lunches and dinners for us and helped us find transportation in the evenings. I would highly recommend this tour.
