This is a must-do excursion! Ahmed the tour operator was very helpful and quickly answered our emails that we sent. We drove to the site with our own car and he gave us very precise directions. He even waited for us because we ran a little late. The camel ride was fun. You ride the camel through the sand dunes to the Berber camp. The food was good, the music and campfire were great. I highly recommend spending the extra money and get a luxury tent with a private bathroom and shower. It is worth it. Be prepared it gets very cold at night. The good thing is they provide many blankets. However, it is still very cold. We had fun and we would do it again.

Una delle esperienze più belle che abbia mai fatto!L escursione con QUIET MERZOUGA DESERT è iniziata con l'accoglienza di Ahmed presso la pensione CHEZ LES HABITANTS,una struttura molto bella situata in un piccolo villaggio caratteristico proprio di fronte alle dune,resa favolosa dalla cordialità di Ahmed,disponibile e premuroso,con un sorriso contagioso,davvero una gran persona,in grando di parlare oltre alla lingua del posto anche italiano,spagnolo ed inglese,e questo fidatevi nn è così comune in Marocco nemmeno nelle città piu turistiche!Dopo la colazione in terraza ci siamo recati all inizio delle dune,200 metri circa di distanza,dove ad aspettarci c'era la nostra guida Mustafà,un giovane ragazzo berbero che vive in un villaggio nel cuore del deserto dove ci si arriva dopo circa 2 ore di dromedario,e lì proprio nel villaggio di Mustafà ci viene servito il pranzo a base di tipica pizza berbera,insalata marocchina accompagnati da un ottimo the verde...dopo un paio di ore per pranzare e godersi la quiete e la suggestiva bellezza del deserto siamo riparti per rientrare alla pensione dove,nella nostra stanza privata,abbiam potuto fare una doccia e riposarci!Grazie davvero ad Ahmed e Mustafà del Quiet Merzouga Desert per averci fatto vivere quest esperienza fantastica!
