Wrong way to begin vacation

Driver text saying go out exit 8 and I will be 2 minutes. Plane was 1/2 hour late, which he should have know. I Kept texting thru customs, baggage and arrival at exit 8. No response. Waited 30 minutes and finally had to take a taxi ($160) to hotel!

It wasn’t what was pictured.

The guy was not standing there with a sign as pictured nor was the car anywhere near what was pictured and the luggage barely fit.

Driver was not waiting inside the terminal as stated. He texted me and told me he would come in to get us. He did not. He texted again and told us to meet him outside. All of the other drivers seemed to be waiting inside for their customers. We had been waiting on him for over half an hour when we got his text. Not pleased.

I paid for airport transfer that included the driver waiting for us in Arrivals Hall with a sign with our name. Instead, we received a text that told us he was waiting outside. He did meet us outside a few moments later and then we had to walk in the drizzle through puddles of water across two separate lanes of traffic to where he was parked. I would have never booked this service had I know they do not wait in arrivals, as indicated. I feel we should receive some reimbursement for this false advertising or the driver not doing what he was supposed to do. If this is the case, I hope he is reprimanded. Also, the website stated we would have an English-speaking driver. He did not speak English!

Just as the service promised, our driver George was waiting for us with our name on a sign, at our meeting point. It was easy and convenient. George was very friendly and helpful. He even pointed out some sights on our way to our hotel. I would definitely use this company again in the future!

Ride never showed up and we were left stranded at airport late at night. Local contact not helpful and kept hanging up on us. Trying to get my refund and keep getting put on hold for long periods of time. Would not advise using this service.

Lufthansa came into Frankfurt late and as a result we missed our connection to Milan. I called Viator to inform them and they claim that they couldn’t contact the driver. So I was out $97.00 and thank you very much.
