The 275 waterfalls that make up stunning Iguazu Falls straddle the border of Brazil and Argentina and sit not far from Paraguay.

Arrive at the Lower Circuit in Iguazu National Park on the Argentinian side. Walk a trail that is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long and allows views of smaller falls like Carlos Bozzetti Waterfall. Continue to the Upper Circuit at the top of the waterfalls and catch panoramic views of the area on both sides of the border, including San Martin Island. On the Brazilian side, marvel at Devil's Throat, a 262-foot (80-meter) waterfall that is the largest in both parks. At an impressive altitude of 262 feet (80 meters), Devil's Throat is where the most water pours through the falls and is a must-see stop.

After your day of exploration on the Argentinian side of Iguazu falls, return to your Foz do Iguaçu hotel for drop-off.

I cannot recommend this excursion enough. The tour operator communicated well with us throughout, picked us up at our AirBnB, and provided opportunities for additional excursions. Roberto, our guide, was informative and engaging. He clearly loves the falls and the flora and fauna surrounding them. It was great to get local history as well as information on local wildlife from him. Book this tour and get up close and personal with one of the Wonders of the Natural World.

Memorable day at Iguazú

Excellent guide, Roberto from Venezuela, made the experience memorable. We visited both sides at an appropriate pace. It was a bit crowded, but manageable. The info provided was concise and help ful.
Amazing, beautiful personal tour!
Andrea_P, Oct 2023
Our tour guide, Robert, was fantastic! He was friendly and knowledgeable. We were surprised and excited that it was just us in the group... And it sounded like his company did the smaller more individualized tours. It is really cool to walk through the jungle on the paths to the waterfalls. We enjoyed the lower loop seeing the waterfalls from the front more than from above, but both loops were still great. Unfortunately, the water was so high from rains that Devils Throat was closed at this time. Still, there are so many waterfalls, it is amazing. There was a lot of walking, but it was worth it! It was really fun to get the view from both sides, as we had done the Brazil side on our own the day before and we were glad that we had then on different days.
Mixed feelings

Pick up from our hotel was on time. We were taken to another meeting place where we waited some time for our guide to join us. We then traveled over the border. The guide dealt with immigration formalities on our behalf and it was reasonable quick to cross. The lines later were very long. We arrived at the falls to find out the price quoted for entry fee had doubled from peso 2800 to 5500. This info should have been available to us so the listing is not accurate. The guide was very helpful and we chose to do only the upper trail as we had not realised that to do both trails was around 4km to walk, some parts with steps. This info should be in the description of the tour in case like us you have mobility problems. We didn’t get the chance to do the train which was disappointing due to time constraints. This was because the rest of the group were continuing to the Brazilian side which we did the day before. If we had more time we could have done the first trail , had a break, then done the second trail. We then returned to Brazil and again the border crossing wasted some time. We honestly wish we had done this tour alone as we paid £77 just for transport and then to be rushed around due to them doing both sides the same day. The info provided by Gray Line is not accurate and communication was not great. To do justice to the falls we recommend doing each side on separate days if you have time especially if you can book a helicopter ride on the Brazilian side
An excellent adventure

We has a fantastic time. The tour was not over crowded and out guide Antonio was absolutely fabulous. We were picked up in Brazil in the morning and crossed over to Argentina. Antonio took care of all the paperwork. We did almost all the trails on the Argentinian side, except the Devil's Throat trail, which was closed due to excessive rain. We them made it back across the border to the Brazilian side for the afternoon. We had some lunch, followed by incredible panoramic views of the falls making our way towards Devil's throat. Overall, this was as smooth as any any adventure we've had and we saw something so incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Amazing!

We had the best day! Fabio our guide met us with a big smile. He was ever so patient, kind and made sure of our safety all through out the tour. He answered most of our questions and at the same time shared as much info about the falls and the area itself. Having him as our guide made this trip more worthwhile. Parque National Iguazu blew us away. It was an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend this tour and our amazing guide! Xxx

Definitely wouldn't recommend this tour since it is way easier to do everything yourself. Don't see the need for a tour guide - they don't give a lextra information that you can't find online or anything.

Fantastic to see la gaganta de la diablo ! To be so close. Will bring some friends next time, where alone this time.
Falls were beautiful but tour disappointing.
Beverly_C, Sep 2019
The falls were very good but they wouldn't let us go down to the lower trail. At the end we were dropped off at a horrible buffet where we had to spend one hour. At that time our guide left without informing us. The driver came back and couldn't speak a word of English so he couldn't answer questions. The tour guide had been very nice. However her English wasn't good enough to understand certain questions so were were confused at times. Plus we didn't get a bathroom break at the end of the tour.

We wee crammed into a small tour van at 7 in the morning, then driven around for an hour picking others up at different hotels. We were crammed into seats like sardines- no legroom or arm room, every single seat taken. The guide was pleasant, but she spoke very poor English and very little Spanish. Inside the van, we had to wait for 30 minutes to go through Brazilian border control and another 30 minutes at the Argentinian control. Once in the park, we had to pay for our park tickets, only to learn that the Argentinian side only took cash. Our guide got us through border control and helped secure tickets at the park for us. When entering the park, she did not look back at us, and we were walking slowly with two small children. We fell off the back of the group and she didn’t notice for a while. The train to the devil’s throat was super packed, four to a row. Once at the Devils throat, there was more waiting, then a .75 mile walk across bridges to get to the falls. The falls themselves were magnificent and well worth the trip. The kids, 7 and 9, were complaining most of the time about the 93 degree heat. After that, we took another slow, cramped train to the upper and lower loops to the other falls. Most of the group wanted the lower walk, because it has better views. My kids were hot and tired and didn’t want steps, so we took the easier upper path. The guide went with the other group, so we were left on our own. The guide told us nothing about the Falls, and the only “guiding” she did was to say things like, trains now, bathroom now, meet here, etc. Our loop took less than one hour, but the other one took over two hours, so we had to wait around for the other to walk and eat. We were basically sitting around on our own for two hours, just waiting for people to get back. On the return trip, we pulled over to the side to wait. We sat packed in the van for 20 minutes outside a Show place, not being told what we were waiting for. Eventually, we found out that some passengers had another tour after the Argentinian falls. 20 minutes later, we found out that we were the ones with the other tour to the Brazilian side of the falls! We were left to wait for ano5er driver at the Churrasco place. Luckily, the other driver came ten minutes later in a private car and took us to the Brazilian falls. He was wonderful, attentive, kind, and accommodating. He stayed with us, helped us, advised us, etc. I would suggest calling him or someone like him instead of group tour.

It was ok, but not what I booked: a guided tour in English (minus 1 star) The bus was awful, not enough space for our legs (minus 2 star). The price was definitely to high

The tour was well organized and secure! Jose was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay not only at the Argentinean side of the falls but on our trip to Foz. She spoke Spanish and Portuguese so those that only spoke Engilsh on our tour were just translated to by the rest. The tour itself started right on time and took us across the border with no issue and to the Iguazu Falls Park. Jose dealt with the ticketing and lines so it was a relaxing ride without having to worry about a thing. The falls were a spectacular phenomenon with an energy that can only be described by being there. Because we were a large group we didn't have to worry about being paired with other tourists but be prepared for crowds of people flooding the walkways in the main trail. We had a nice walk that took us to the less crowded lower views of the falls and then later headed up up to the bridge walkways over the river. The tour ended with a drive back to Brazil and dinner at a traditional Brazilian buffet and meat grill. It was a little expensive if you aren't a meat eater coming to about 70 reals per person. It is a popular tour guide location so many vendors sell things out front and the inside is filled with tourist. Overall it was a delicious and great experience. If you are struggling to decide between seeing the Argentinean side of the falls or the Brazilian side, I'm here to tell you that you should see both. On the Argentinean side, you get up close and personal with the water and a beautiful trail. On the Brazilian side you get to really see the expanse of the entire landscape of Iguazu like you could never imagine of the Argentinean side and a similar close and personal feel at the Devils Throat. Overall Amazing, hassle-free tour and would definitely recommend!

The tour itself was great but it was cut short because one of the attendees needed to get to the airport which I found unacceptable in the extreme. To have an entire group of people who all paid full price sacrifice a part of their tour for one individual is poor planning on the side of the tour operator, they should have declined her attendance or placed her on another tour.

It is not so easy to appreciate the beauty of the Iguassu-Falls when thousands of other people want to see the same Falls at the same time but with a bit of patience it is possible to see 'all'.

What a wonderful site. The guide was calm and took us around at a leisurely pace. He helped point out many items that we probably would have missed without him. This area is on our list for a revisit since it is so large and wounderous that it will take multiple trips to really see it without all the awe that first time visitors would have. A long day well worth the price.
