Tour guide was gracious, personable and knowledgeable. Great way to see the city. We were running late due to not being familiar with the area; Dave called to check in with us and even waited a couple minutes for us to arrive.

In terms of Viator - perfect! As always!!! Quite disappointed we got a blue “people van” vs a trolley. Definitely impacted our impression of what we were hoping for. Know this was not a Viator issue but more of a Fredricksburg trolley decision. Still disapppinting. Tour guide (Rebecca) was very good.

Thank you for sharing and for the compliment on our guide, Rebecca. Our Historic District tour does not guarantee a specific vehicle. On the booking page with Viator this statement appears “Please be aware that for less than 8 passengers this tour may take place in our luxury mini-coach.”
We will use an alternate vehicle rather than cancel a tour. Your tour was on a Tuesday which is historically a slower day of the week. Additionally, you would not have had Rebecca as a guide because she does not drive a trolley.

It was our first time to visit Fredericksburg. We walked the main street and visited the museum the first day, watched the total eclipse the second day, and, at the last minute, booked this tour! The trolley is a comfortable ride, and Dave is a fantastic tour guide! He took us to many places that we hadn't seen. He was very knowledgeable about the community. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed Dave, our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and enthused about Fredericksburg history, and gave us a detailed tour of the city. The highlight of our tour was the stop at the black church. Gary was very informative and gave us a lot of information about the restoration of the building and the grounds. The entire experience was most memorable for us and our guests from Wisconsin.

During the busiest week (Eclipse) of Fredericksburg we asked to cancel our tour due to weather conditions. We were told if someone else booked, we would receive a refund. Obviously with the large crowds, someone else would have booked. Of course, we did not receive a refund as promised. We already lost $500.00 with another event planned there. (Way overpriced). Obviously these events were only planned to schedule overpriced events to visitors coming to see what was thought yo be a beautiful, friendly location.
We will now be canceling our planned trip to Fredericksburgs this fall with friends.

Hello. I’m so sorry that you lost $500 to another event that you had planned. But it was not with us. We did request Trioadvisor to refund your tickets to the historic district tour. Sometimes it takes a few days for you to receive your refund from a third party site. Fredericksburg Tours does not collect your money when you book through a third-party booking agent. Therefore your refund is processed through the company that you booked. We also did not over price your booking. We kept our pricing the same as every other day. We requested a refund for you as a courtesy as you waited to contact us until within the 24 hour no refund policy to call us. Policies are clearly stated on your reservation and on our website and on Viator websites. We exist to provide great tours and pricing for our visitors to Fredericksburg. However, since we only offer one historic district tour each day we rely on our guests to contact us within the cancellation period so that we can fill that spot. Please let us know when you receive your refund from TripAdvisor. We would not have minded if you had called us back to let us know that you had not received your refund. We would have reached out to Viator as we did on your behalf when we allowed you a courtesy refund.
