Must see tour of west Madeira

Excellent tour with Robert. Took us all over the west side with spectacular scenery, stopping at all the important view points. Lunch was good (though extra) and Robert was entertaining to say the least.

We loved every minute of this. Our driver/guide was excellent and a lot of fun. I wouldn’t suggest any kind of tour like this if you get car sick or are afraid of heights, for us it was so much fun. We only drove by Sexial and I was disappointed as the photos on line looks so beautiful. It is beautiful but saw so many other picturesque landscapes that by far exceeded this, so I’m glad we didn’t spend any time there

Diogo Pinto was our guide and he was amazing! He was very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly with the group! We had so much fun in the jeep and each of the stops were a good time. The nature pools was our favorite stop on the trip.

It was all wonderful! Mauricio was the best, we loved his surprise roads instead of “normal roads”. We had a great time, we enjoyed the beauty and the humor all day!

Had a great time exploring the island and seeing the sites with fun guides. The best way to see Madeira especially navigating the narrow roads and steep inclines. The off roading was great fun as well. Lunch isn’t the best but it didn’t matter as the rest of the day was great. Highly recommend

What a trip! Lucy our guide was wonderful. Her knowledge of the Island was superb. She had to speak in 4 languages during my trip abd made each of us feel included and special. The destinations we travelled to were magnificent. Our driver ( apologies I can't recall his name) was extremely competent which was very reassuring on some of the roads. Highly, highly reccomend.

Leonardo was funny, educated, and well-versed in all things Madeira. Our tour was a last minute booking because we hadn’t planned on doing any tours but it was a great and entertaining way to see parts of the island we wouldn’t have in our own. Absolutely worth it!

If i had another 5 stare. Francisco our driver was amazing. Even though the weather was Not good he made the trip fun, relaxing and a really great day. Changed things around so we had a Full experience. Of everything Madeira had to offer. Mountains, beach, forest, rain, sun and mist. Had an absolutely amazing day. Thank you Francisco ❤️❤️❤️

We had Mauricio as our tour guide and he was absolutely fabulous! He made the excursion 10x better. They take you to multiple different stops so it’s not the same type of scenery at every stop, the short cuts were so much fun. Highly recommend the tour to anyone !!

Ruben was amazing, great diver, very knowledgeable. We got lucky and had amazing weather in the forest, it was an unreal experience. The off-roading was so much fun being able to stand up in the jeep and see the amazing scenery.

Super friendly guide who gave us the right amount of information without being too much. Nice pace of the tour, Pools were closed due to high winds but we did another stop somewhere else to make up for it. Only complaint would be the lunch stop is a little too long and the place we stopped not the greatest but understand there’s not a lot of choice of places at 1500 metres above sea level

We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend the tour. Gil was a brilliant guide who was passionate about sharing the delights of the Island, and very knowledgeable. We stood up in the back of the Defender for the off-road section and that was a lot of fun! Loved the pools, Skywalk, steep ‘shortcuts’ and driving through the waterfall. Thanks

We had a amazing time with Tony and the rest of our crew. He kept things light, energetic and fun! The tour had a great variety of activities and the open roof 4x4 was so worth it. Highly recommend this if you don't want the standard shuttle bus tour of Madiera.

Robert was phenomenal. This has to be the best excursion we've ever booked on vacation. Don't worry about the price because you get such a good value. There's over 10+ stops that are perfectly timed and not rushed. You will see so much of Madeira on this trip and it will be breathtaking. The views and mountainside are unlike anything I've ever seen (fair warning: Not for those with a fear of heights). Our favorite part was swimming in the Porto Moniz natural pools. It was magical. I really can't stress enough that Robert does the entire tour with a smile on his face and really cares about the experience of everyone on the trip. He goes above and beyond to make it fun, took us to every destination safely and even had some surprises for us. We think he's the best tour guide we've ever encountered, give him a raise!! You won't be disappointed on this trip. Just book it!
