Lake cruise

Really lovely hour spent on the lake with choice of drinks and snacks . Would do this trip again . Modern boat, kindly skipper.

Don’t book online, book at a ticket office so you can find the embarkation point

Was unable to find the embarkation point due to no signage. The gps dropped me off at #2 and further along was #6 then #8. Apparently I needed to continue past #8 to find #4. The ticket office at #2 wouldn’t help me as not same company. I tried calling the number on Viator for help and no one answered. After 45 minutes of searching I managed to find the departure point 5 minutes after the departure time and watched the boat. There was a man sitting on the grey crane who offered no help.

Lovely way to see Geneva

I only had a short evening to explore Geneva, so this cruise was a great way to get oriented with the beautiful landscape of the city and surrounding region. I especially loved the zero-emission, solar-powered boat! Oh, and having some Swiss wine and cheese to boot wasn't half bad either :) The only drawback was that it was quite a short trip, but overall I'd recommend!

The sightseeing was the most memorable moments for me. The beautiful sea of water. We were cold and the tour guide had warm blankets for us, I also appreciated that.

Its worthless 45 min small boat trip. Viator shouldn’t promote this kind of trip. There is lot of boat cruise in Geneva which viator can promote

Beware scant directions

Most memorable was the awful treatment I received - inadequate directions meant that my wife and I couldn’t find the boat, but as no blame has been accepted by Viator or Swisstours we are now £50 out of pocket for a “never had” experience - absolutely disgrace from any company!!!!!

A fun hour on the water

Peaceful, nice captain, max 12 people. Wine and snacks were fine - a great way to spend an hour on the water. Someone complained about lack of wine - it was plenty and we got refills! Captain was friendly - no commentary but just an hour out on the water seeing the lake and Jet d’Eau. Highly recommend - nothing fancy but not that expensive either!

Wonderful captain providing excellent service on our hour boat ride on the lake. Wine was local and very good as well as the snacks served. He took us near the water spray and we could feel the cool mist. Great on a warm summer day! This is not a guided tour. It’s a time to enjoy the sights from the water, with a glass of wine or two. Boat accommodates 12 people. Great for small groups! Highly recommend! Best value in Geneva! Boat is white with black cow spots on it! 😄 Easy to find, next to the small crane on the water’s edge.

Disappointing silent boat ride.

Wine, bread and cheese was ok. No attempt at any commentary during trip made it pointless to use this as a guide to Geneva. Fountain also not running at the time.

There was no commentary from the driver, so this was more of a boat ride than a tour. It was a much smaller boat than others we saw, but also much less expensive. Beautiful views of the city from the lake.
