What To Expect
Whether you’ve opted for the shorter queen flight, which holds up to 20 people, or the longer king flight for a more intimate group of just 12, your Cappadocia hot-air balloon experience begins with an early morning pick-up by air-conditioned minivan from your central hotel.
Thanks to mother nature, Cappadocia possesses one of the most otherworldly landscapes on earth. Compacted volcanic ash has been eroded over millions of years to reveal multi-colored layers, spires, and the so-called “fairy chimneys.” The best way to see it is by air.
First, enjoy a light preflight breakfast, with coffee and tea available for an additional pick-me-up. Then, travel to the launch point, where you meet your expert pilot and watch your colorful 100-foot (30-meter) balloon inflate.
As you lift off, the ground shrinks beneath you. Fly over Cappadocia at heights that can reach 1,000 feet (300 meters), see canyons, spires, plateaus, and undulating valleys.
Listen to your pilot illuminate the geological history of this region, and don’t forget to snap a few photos. After your safe landing, once the balloon canvas has been removed, toast your flight with a glass of sparkling wine and receive your commemorative medal.
Relax on your drive back to your central Cappadocia hotel.

Everything is well organized! They pick up us on time, the small breakfast is great, and the hot air balloon ride is amazing! Our hot air balloon pilot, Ahmed, is very skillful and the landing is so smooth. Would definitely recommend royal balloon to my friends.

The trip was just breathtaking! The business that did the trip was very professional from the very beginning. We were picked up on time, taken to a nice, clean place for breakfast and then to the balloon ride.

We had the BEST time ever! This was the BEST tour and we had the BEST pilot and co-pilot.
Kemal our pilot was very professional, funny and a great leader. He made sure that everyone is having a great time and made us laugh a lot. This is the one tour that you don't want to miss. Kaya, the co-pilot, Kaya was also very helpful. In general the whole crew were the BEST. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. Thank you to the Royal Team.

What a spectacular experience! The staff at Royal are so professional and a big shout out to the pilot Abdullah for making everyone feel so calm and peaceful during the flight! We felt so well looked after from the moment we left our accomodation until they dropped us back again afterwards. It really was world class service and I highly recommend to those people travelling to Cappadocia to do the hot air balloon

We thought our whole experience was very organized. Thoroughly impressed with the timing and our actual flight. Kemal and his co-pilot Hussein were very entertaining. You cannot book a balloon tour better than this. Great pilots, amazing ride and timing, and great service.
We booked 2 days. Our second day ride canceled due to weather but the refunded the cost without any effort.
First day ride, kids and wife loved so much and could not stop talking about.
