What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with two masterful potters. You see so much pottery in the region and attempting to make your own, really gives you insight into just how skilled they are. They are warm and welcoming and give you protective clothing before you start so no need to worry about keeping your clothes clean. You are guided all the way with ready hands to ensure that you end up with reasonable end product. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

The pottery class was excellent! The hosts were so nice and organized a taxi for me there and back and told me about everything going on in Avanos and about how their family has owned the pottery shop for decades. It was easy to do and you had the option to take home the item you made, or if you’re staying in cappadocia for a couple days they can cook it and let you paint it. It was a wonderful experience

This was a great time. The tour brothers doing the class were very warm and welcoming. I had so much fun trying to make the cup. They give you insight into pottery-making and the Cappadocia region. Would highly recommend it for creative folks and if you are looking for something different to do!

Lovely experience both Dawoud and Hassan were very friendly and explained the history etc. Dawoud helped me with the pottery and he was so funny and encouraging! I saw there is max 3 per class but it was just me there so it was nice to have 1 on 1. Definitely recommend doing a pottery class while in Cappadocia as it’s a big part of their history and you’ll have a souvenir to remember your trip!

This was one of the best experiences of our entire trip (4 weeks)!! This was a private and fun pottery class with a ton of laughs. We will 100% be back and feel like we made lifelong memories. I booked this for me and my mom as our first activity in cappadocia. Hasan and his cousin (Davut?) were amazing! Hasan picked us up at our hotel and on the way to avanos told us about certain landmarks and monuments and even stopped his car so we could take pictures. He also told us about the history of avanos which was interesting. Once we got to the pottery workshop, Davut made us some coffee for while we watched him make a sugar bowl, which he made crazy fast. It was super impressive. Then Davut helped us each make our own pieces and he was super helpful and patient. Once we were done Hasan even helped me find a shop to buy a souvenir I had been searching for for days, walked us over and helped us find what we were looking for and make sure it was good quality. He offered to let us walk around avanos and that he would drive us back to hotel whenever we were ready, which was really nice even though we didn’t take him up on his offer, so he just drove us back to our hotel. Overall it was a GREAT introduction to cappadocia and a really good time, the workshop was short which gave us a lot of time to actually make our pieces, and it was everything we were expecting and more. I would definitely do again if I come back to cappadocia, and I would recommend to everyone! Thank you Hasan and Davut!!

This was so much fun! The guides were informative and fun. You watch the master make something first then you each take turns to make your own item. If you're staying in Cappadocia long enough they can fire it up for you, if not, they put them in boxes and give you bubble wrap to protect them on your journey home. Really recommend!

It was so fun to create something with clay. Hasan and his cousin were very good and guided us throughout the pottery workshop. We never thought we could build something amazing. Highly recommended, when in Cappadocia do visit this workshop you will not be disappointed. They also provide hotel pickup and drop-off.

This experience was quite memorable for us. We had a very flexible tour guide Hasan, who arranged transport especially for us from our desired pickup point. Everything was done in a timely manner, and we had a great experience with Davud who was the clay master. He was very patient and made sure that we enjoyed the class. We had a great time and recommend this class to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
