Abdul was pleasant but I believe he was under the weather since he seemed tired and needed breaks more then we did! He gave us minimal information as opposed to other guides who I could overhear nearby. The tour ended at 5:45. Very average for the price

It was incredible, it is a beautiful and well preserved monument, The moorish architecture is outstanding. It was pouring rain but our guide, Pablo,did a great job under the circumstances and was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the crowds effortlessly.

Esther was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge and friendly engaging personality. My daughter loved her company! I would highly recommend her as a private guide to tour the Alhambra. However, I am taking off 1 star for the tour company who disingeneously list multiple time slots on TripAdvisor and Viator yet either don’t plan ahead or have no intention of honoring those time slots. I got a call late night (10pm) from Fatmi the tour operator asking us to meet the guide at the Alhambra at 9am (instead of our booked time slot of 11:30am). He claimed otherwise we would not get to see the Nasrid Palaces since our tickets got issues for entrance between 9:30-10:00am. This resulted in last minute cancellation of breakfast plans and rushing in the morning. There is a reason people book tours later in the day (young kids, older members in the group) and it is quite unreasonable and unprofessional of the tour company to expect people to drop everything at the last minute, due to their lack of planning (or perhaps squeezing in an extra group to make more bucks). Esther did pay for the taxi (since we had no time to walk to the Alhambra) and that gesture was appreciated. But that is not enough for the late night stress that it caused while on vacation.

Thank you. The Alhambra tickets are so complicated and your booking was in the last minute so we got the last minute tickets not adapted to your choice. We got them at 22:00 and we contacted you immediately. We also explained that the starting times are approximately as you can se in the booking normes we make everything to make people happy but we are sorry if you were between does 2% who have to get up 30 minutes nbefore .

I had a lovely visit with genial, informative Pablo. I was so glad I hadn't read up on it very much beforehand , as everything was a wonderful delight. Also, I didn't have to keep consulting a book as I went round, as this would have taken time and slowed the visit up, so I would have been caught up in the crowds behind me. On a practical note, it lasted 3 hours, there's a lot of steep steps, but handrails everywhere, and it's been one of the best 'luxeries' to which I have ever treated myself!
