The Alhambra brought 'to life'!!

The tour guide was excellent. It may seem like quite a lot of money for just 3 hours but Angela was SO knowledgeable and brought many areas of the Alhambra 'to life' with her animated stories and enthusiastic descriptions. The earphones helped to follow her commentary and she happily stopped to answer our questions. She never seemed daunted. Thank you so much Angela

We loved our tour with Carlos. His tour covered history and some architecture of the Alhambra. His information and anecdotes really brought the place to life. The only downside (and reason less than 5 stars) was the tour operator changed our entry time by an hour and we found out about it on the day of the tour. Carlos again to the rescue with options for parking and meetup to accommodate our change of plans. Can’t recommend Carlos highly enough!!!

I booked this private tour last minute because I didn’t get tickets to Alhambra on time and didn’t want to miss it. So glad I did. Lenka was brilliant. She had clear knowledge and fascination with the Alhmabra and did just a great job explaining stuff. The 2 others on the tour had to leave early which made this tour like a private one only to me. I’m a Muslim Arab and this visit meant so much to me to connect to and learn the Islamic history of Spain, and Lenka did wonderful. We also had fun reading Arabic script off the walls :) highly recommend this tour and Lenka !!

This was the worst tour I have ever had in my 30 years of travelling ! Your guide did not show up! This ciases us to miss a once in a lifetime experience of visiting Alhambra. No explanation. Nothing!.

We booked them for a client of ours at a very last minute when tickets to Alhambra weren’t available. They ensured the tickets and were helpful in the booking. The guide was also very knowledgeable and supportive. He made the tour even more enjoyable for our clients and they were very happy.

Abubakr was an incredible guide. He carefully led us through crowds of people and explained in detail the history of the Alhambra and Generalife. He answered any and all questions we had. He was courteous, funny, and friendly. We are so glad we chose a private tour, and that he was our guide.

The tour guide Ester was no less than amazing, but! Viator SUCKS. They confirmed our private booking for the 11.30 slot until a local guy which we approached ourselves the day before told us the the tickets were sold out. He mentioned other names than ours and made it clear with an ultimatum that we could either accept the new time slot or cancel. Which obviously left us with no choice and ruined the experience He talked about tickets on black market which made it even more shady and unprofessional. Viator refused to help during this major hickup and refused to sort things out, unfortunately!!! I would NEVER recommend viator to anyone. I mean you can't confirm a booking, sell a product and then take it back. That said our local guide was an energy bomb, professional and such a treat!

A tour well worth doing with a good private guide. Alex was knowledgeable, amiable, accommodating and passionate about the place. The Alhambra and surroundings are breathtaking. Entry is limited to a certain number of visitors per hour per day. It is therefore never overly crowded, thus giving visitors the chance to truly appreciate its majesty.

Great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Alhambra and respectful. It took us about 2 hours to go through the complex but I lost track of time and felt like few minutes. The tour was amazing.

WORST tour experience ever. My husband and I traveled on an almost 3 hour journey from Seville with a child. After arriving at the meeting point and waiting for a while the tour operator messaged saying they could not do our 11:30 tour and it would be moved to 3:30 or 5:30. I was shocked. We had a train later that night and could not do a late tour. We kept messaging them and they were barely responding. Kept us hanging the whole time. They later messaged saying my multiple messages to them and Viator was stressing them out. Um, EXCUSE ME? I traveled all the way for nothing, hear my tour is canceled, lose my day and I'm the one stressing them out. No remorse or apology. Eventually they could not guarantee a time so we decided to get on our train back. Terrible experience and Viator has not been helpful either. Traveled 6 hours for nothing. Stay away from this company.

"Hamdy's understanding of Garnada is beyond excellent. He was exceptionally courteous, polite, and exceedingly supportive. The tour commenced punctually, and he was accommodating to all our special requests. He is an outstanding communicator with a strong command of English, Spanish, and Arabic. God willing, I plan to return and bring my children for another tour with him."

Pablo is a nice guy, 2 out of 10 as a tour guide. Not worth the $450 paid … would have been better off just enjoying all the free aspects of the Alhambra …
