      Pricey but good commentary

      The Alhambra requires a lot of walking, the highlight being the Nasrid Palace. Firstly the viator price is much higher than when booked directly with the company. Secondly the group was pretty sizable with almost 20 people, the guide didn't have any marker to see him in the crowd, that would be helpful. We all had individual earpieces to hear the commentary which was useful. There are free audioguides for the alhambra at various points

      Fantastic palace and the tour made good progress. The free bus journeys proved to be impossible to obtain. We went to 2 of the designated machines to get the tickets, but the option was greyed out. Very disappointing.

      This 3 hour tour was one of the most interesting we have ever done. Our guide Julian shared the information comprehensively and delivered it in a clear and easy way. He was personable and readily answered any questions. His enthusiasm for Alhambra was infectious. The tour exceeded our expectation and has left us with a greater appreciation of Alhambra.

      The tour itinerary was well-organized, allowing ample time to explore Alhambra's different sections, including the Nasrid Palaces, Generalife Gardens, and the Alcazaba fortress. Each part of the tour was informative and captivating. Our tour guide, Nataliya, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and significance of Alhambra. Her storytelling brought the site to life, making it a truly immersive experience. The Nasrid Palaces with their intricate Islamic art and architecture were the highlight of the tour. The Generalife Gardens provided a serene retreat, and the panoramic views from the Alcazaba were stunning.

      To properly enjoy such an extensive site almost demands a tour. There is simply too much to see and learn about. Otherwise, you could wander for hours and never understand the significance of what you're seeing. This was a great opportunity to a) navigate the logistics of such a crowded and huge place and b) learn some inside stories about the history. Outstanding.

      Natalia, or guide, was perfect! We got so much more out of the Alhambra than we would have if we had gone on our own. My 12 year old son did not want to do a tour. He started the tour saying “Mom, do we HAVE to do this tour? Please can you tell her we want to go on our own?” Fifteen minutes into the tour he said “Mom, we NEED to stay close to her so we can see what she is pointing at. Hurry up and get up here.”

      JJ is a wonderful guide. His passion for Alhambra and it’s history really is apparent. He has a wealth of knowledge and is able to answer a wide variety of questions. You could spend an entire day with him and always be engaged. The tour encompasses the time and location as it was described. Please read that carefully. You must have proper identification and be able to walk, navigate some steps and stand for the time specified. This may not be a tour for you if you have babies or small children or if you are not able to walk/stand for a long period.

      the trip to the Alhambra was great. It is a magnificent site and one of the most beautiful in Spain. The tour guide, Alba was very informative and gave a lot of really good information about the history and architecture of the building. The gardens were beautiful and the views from the building spectacular.
