The resort was not cooperative with us since we didn’t purchase our excursion from the ship. The people that bought was cruise were allowed straight through and greeted politely. Even with our passes, emails, and several other proof of purchase it took 45 minutes, 3 lines and a manager to allow our entrance. This was frustrating as we docked late on the ship most of our day was taken up at checkin. Frustrating!!

The description was not accurate. No windsurfing or snorkeling. Drinks were watered down. Water was nice but there was I stepped on fire coral for which there was no warning. Food was meh.

We were in Freeport on a day excursion off of a cruise ship. We found a taxi driver to drive us to the resort. The taxi was more expensive than the website says. Cost us 38 plus tip each way took about 30 min each way. The resort was very beautiful and spread out. The Large Pool was very clean. Nice lounge chairs at the pool and on the beach. Very long private beach area. Beach area was very clean and the ocean was clear and a beautiful blue/green. There are a lot of rocks in the ocean, so it's hard on your feet walking out. Food was just ok. The Drinks were very good, the bartenders were not skimpy on the liquor. We took dance lessons at the pool, played in the sand, hung out in the ocean and kayaked, all were a lot of fun. Wind was to strong to take out the sale boats and to try the paddle boards. Even tho it was end of March, the ocean and pool were warm enough to get in. This excursion was very nice, the resort is very relaxing, not a party scene if this is what your looking for but it is a little pricey for the amount of time at the resort and for the quality of the food. We had a few drinks but over all it was expensive for what you get especially with taxi cost on top of the resort cost. Nice place, I would consider spending a week there

Cab ride to Wyndham Fortuna Resort was a 30 minute ride instead of a 15 minute one and the cost was not 15.00 but 40.00. The Beach was nice and clean. Beer got hot quickly as it was served in a cup instead of a bottle or can but over all this was a nice place.
