I think the whole package tour was incredible. Ian and Andrew were amazing, love the stories, learned a lot, they gave us enough time to explore to take pictures, I highly recommend this tour.

All the cool history and local restaurants the guide stopped at on the tour. The food is delicious. If you can try the toretare pie (may spelt it wrong). Ask what meats is used to make it first, they do use pork sometimes. Over all the trip was 😊

It was a super day out with Sam and the other guests. Sam is energetic, positive and so very knowledgeable about everything! The ride was comfortable and Sam got us to Peggy's Cove ahead of the crowds and home on schedule with plenty of stopovers and little hikes, leisurely lunch and coffees as well as a vineyard stop with time to indulge. I finished the tour with lots of notes about what to research and I found the tour well worth the cost. Everyone should take this tour! Thanks Sam and Rigby for a great day!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with Alternative Routes! We did the NS Day Tour the day after arriving to Canada and it was the perfect way to start our travels. This tour is great if you don’t have a rental car to get around but want some time and flexibility to explore. They offer hotel pick-up and drop-off. The driving routes are scenic - as if it were a living postcard, so keep your eyes open and cameras ready for pics! Finally, Ian’s was our tour guide and brought us to the different places safely, even with rain during the second half of our trip. His anecdotes were entertaining and informative, and he has a repertoire of impeccable of reccs for food, coffee, and places to see. Highly recommend this experience for those seeking chill vibes and stunning Atlantic views! Would do it again!!!

Karen our guide is such a lovely, accommodating, and knowledgeable person who really made the trip enjoyable and memorable. We had a great time and many great conversations with her and our fellow trippers (two other lovely couples), really enjoyed our time visiting all the different places she took us to including Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, as well as a short stop at a beach and the Bay of Fundy.
