A tour of Himeji

The tour was really informative and friendly, Ms. Ishimaru answered all my questions and showed me everything I was interested in seeing from the ropeway and temples in the mountains, to the gardens and Himeji castle too. I was keen on the history and past culture and she knew all about these as well so I learned a lot and enjoyed the day thoroughly. I'd be very keen to take a similar tour again and do recommend this for anyone keen to explore Himeji or the surrounding areas. Thankyou.

Great Tour

We enjoyed our tour. We were especially impressed with Yamadera which is a temple in the mountains. The walk to the temple was steep but it was through a beautiful forest which was lined with bronze deities up to the temple. We also enjoyed the gardens in the Castle. Our guide spoke perfect English and was able to share a lot of information on the area.

We enjoyed every part of this experience and appreciated our guide Hiro. he was full of knowledge, was flexible and switching the order of things because of the heat was so perfect. In fact we feel your tour should be in that order anyway. Peaceful Mountain Temple then Busier castle area. then station made so much sense to us. LOVED the lunch place. So charming. Some of the highlights of our whole exploration in Kansai were at Himeji. Thank you.
