Overview

Go skydiving indoors without the scary experience of jumping out of an airplane. Book your experience ahead of time at the iFLY Houston Memorial, where you'll have your turn in a vertical wind tunnel. With the help and directions of an instructor, experience free-fall conditions int he tunnel and walk away with a personalized certificate commemorating your flight. A prepaid ticket means you have your pick of days and times to suit your vacation schedule.

If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Q:How does the Houston Memorial Indoor Skydiving Experience work?

A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

A:It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.

A:Generally, a group of up to 12 guests fly in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor.

A:Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish.

A:If someone chooses to come to watch, he or she is welcome to accompany you through your experience and can watch from the observation area.

A:Generally, no. There’s no jumping, no falling, and no experience is needed. You simply float on a column of air. There is no sensation of falling or anything that would make you feel motion sickness.

A:Not at all. It is the same as if you stick your head out a car window while driving. All you feel is the wind in your face. Just breathe normally, either through your mouth or your nose.

The experience was fun. Probably would have been better if the instructor handling the big guys was a bit more physically capable. She had a hard time steadying them because they were a bit overwhelming for her physically and they went down.

Took two of my great nephews to iFly - 12 and 14 years old. The boys had a blast! They each had 3 flying times, including the high fly. It was a great experience. The photos and video we purchased allowed me to share this experience with their parents. I highly recommend a trip to iFly.

Unexpected surprise

My family (2 adults two teenagers) did not expect to like this as much as we did, and we expected to really really like it. It wasn’t scary at all, and turned out to be a lifetime experience. We bought four more flights per person afterwards. Truly inspiring.
