• Pickup is available from hotels in Hurghada. • Pickup and drop-off from hotels in Makadi bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Al Ahyaa, El Gouna, Soma Bay, and Safaga are available for an additional fee. • The journey from Hurghada to Luxor is 4 hours by minibus with multiple checkpoints. It is recommended that you bring a book or prepare some music with you for the long ride. • There will be plenty of snacks and water on the minibus. • Please provide your hotel room number as this is required by the Egyptian government regarding the COVID-19 protocol. If you do not yet know please put N/A and let the local partner know via email or WhatsApp once you do. • If you are staying in an apartment or villa, you should send the activity provider to the nearest hotel to you. • If you prefer to stay in Luxor, you MUST inform at least 24 hours in advance and get confirmation from your supplier.

Perfect Luxor Tour

Excellent day tour. Everything was very smooth and efficient. Our driver Ahmed was brilliant, got us there and back from hurghada in no time, while also being very knowledgeable about Luxor, providing info all the way. Our tour guide Sayid was equally as good, ensuring we had plenty of information about the historical sights we were visiting.

The sights were beautiful. However, we never got to see the Papyrus factory or Luxor Temple, due to time constraints. We wished our guide would would have told us that we are spending too much time at the Essential Oils retailer, as that appears to have been the reason for not getting to see the Temple…. seems like the guide was more interested in assuring sales for the oils market… At the end he told us that we’d have to be out of Luxor soon, due to the checkpoints. After all, the Luxor Temple tickets had been paid by us with the tour price…..Sadly!

First our program doesn't included Luxor temple Just Karnak, Hatshepsut, Valley of Kings also this is shared trip and most of customer asking for the special Luxor souvenir so its very important to visit these shops if you didn't need you can stay outside or upgrade your trip to private one.

An excellent trip, very knowledgeable and informative guide, excellent drivers and comfortable Vehicle. The sites and temples were majestic A few comments *but didn't detract from the enjoyment of the trip.* The advert with Viator states 1) 14hr day 31/2 hour to Luxor from Hurghada, but it is more like a 16-hour day 41/2 hour road trip. The shorter day was the reason why we booked this excursion 2)It states an English guide the Austrian couple and ourselves were under the misapprehension it would only be in English 3) The Nile boat trip was an option at 10euro per person if not taken up would cross by ferry, This was not given as an option, however, we would have taken up Nile cruise in any case. The charge after was circa 13euro/person; but did include fresh fruit and drink. I would suggest this Nile cruise is included in the overall cost of excursion to prevent misunderstandings.

Der Fahrer kam 45 min zu spät, ohne Entschuldigung ohne Vorwarnung obwohl meine Nummer vorhanden war... Wir sind nach 30 Minuten zurück ins Zimmer gegangen, total enttäuscht und durchgefroren... Dann kam der Anruf vom Fahrer wo wir denn sind und er sei ja schon lange am warten, echt extrem dreist. Zum Preis : wir haben für 47 Euro gebucht und hatten uns gefreut da dies nach einem Schnäppchen klang, ganz zu unserer Überraschung wurden dann auf einmal noch 40 € Service Gebühren und 10 Euro abholkosten und 15 Euro für die Bananen Insel abgeknüpft. 40€ Service Gebühren stehen in der Beschreibung mit 40 Ägyptischen pfund (siehe Währungszeichen) wurden dann aber als English pound deklariert 10 € Abholung obwohl die Tour von Hurghada eh durch Makadi geht .... Bananen Insel steht mit 10 Euro in der Beschreibung abgezogen hat er uns natürlich 5 Euro mehr weil sonst lohnt es ja nicht. Der Tour Boy lief total schnell durch Luxor durch, Zeit gelassen haben die sich nur in den Shops und an Orten wo alle wieder nur eins wollten... Unsere Kohle . Ich hab den Veranstalter vorher kontaktiert weil mir die Masche mit dem Währungszeichen echt auf den Sack ging, Stornierung leider nicht möglich ... Es blieb also nichts übrig außer diese überteuerte Tour zu machen und am Ende 220 Euro bezahlt zu haben für 2 Personen ... Die selbe Tour gibt's für 133 Euro alles inklusive bei get your Guide oder für 160 Euro vom Hotel aus ... Traurig das es so Veranstalter gibt das ist definitiv ein Job für Peter Giese Hurghada to Go ,nie wieder !
