This tour is definitely a must see! The scenery on the way up to the mountain is breathtaking. The tour was very organized and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, there was an incident where our portable router was taken by someone. This has nothing to do with the tour by the way. However, the actions of our tour guide, CLAUDIA, helped us to get it back. She went above and beyond, and way out of the scope of her duties to have it returned, even long after my family and I returned home. I would definitely do this tour again even after what happened. Just like everywhere you go, you must be vigilant and this was a lesson I learned. Thank you Claudia for your time and effort. You alone made this tour even better!

Great tour, highly recommend
Elizabeth_P, May 2024
Great tour! We were well looked after the entire time (which was ideal because it was a little chaotic up there). Bruno was our guide and he was fantastic! Very friendly and well-informed.
Excellent cable car & gondola trip
Dilip_K, Apr 2024
Excellent trip, instructions on the app For the train stations can be more clearer since the station name provided in app.is different from the actual place.

Being at the top was amazing. We were lucky to have a sunny day. Our guides Diego and Dan did a great job getting us from bus, gondola, train.

The beautiful mountains, e every thing was exciting. I would recommend to all my friends. This was just breath taking and I will never forget it.
Impressive and worth it
Phil_G, Apr 2024
We went in April to the Jungfraujoch. We had a partly cloudy day and the mountains were in and out of the clouds. However we got just enough of the sun to get really nice pictures of the Jungfrau and surrounding mountains and the glacier. It would have been nice if the weather were better, but it was still an exciting excursion. And there are many more things to see than just the Jungfrau itself. There is a self-guided tour through ice cave, the Sphinx, Glacier Plaza, and other interesting things. I had thought the cog wheel train ride up would have been more interesting, but there just isn't that much to see inside a tunnel. The cog wheel train is so modernized that is as smooth as riding on flat land and as quite as an electric car. All in all, a very worthwhile trip.
Not worth it
Mindy_P, Apr 2024
We have taken many Viator tours throughout Europe and have enjoyed all of them EXCEPT for this one. I was expecting an interactive experience with our guide but what we paid for was transportation guidance up to the top of Jungfraujoch. By the time the bus picked us up in interlaken it was pretty full. This excursion originates in Zurich and as a family of five, we had to sit separately which wouldn’t have been awful except we had a child with us. I would not recommend this excursion. You could get there yourself for half the price.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear Mindy, Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about your recent experience on our Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe tour. As we allocate our seats on a "first come, first served" basis instead of fixed allocations, your preferred seat may no longer be available when boarding the bus. In order to avoid such situations from happening again, we’ll inform our guides to reserve seats for families joining at a later departure point. Our guests that departed in Zurich and Lucerne early in the morning have 2 hours of commentary behind them by the time they arrive in Interlaken. After a break of 45 minutes, the journey continues for 25 minutes until reaching Grindelwald Terminal, where the group takes the cable car to ascend Jungfraujoch. During this short ride, the tour guide has to provide all the necessary information about the timetable, meeting point and activities available at the top of the mountain to ensure a smooth organisation and a punctual departure. Given that our groups get mixed with other individual travellers at the cable car and train stations during both the ascent and descent, it’s crucial to provide this information beforehand to maintain the group together. We apologize for any inconveniences caused and hope that you give us a second chance on your next visit to our beautiful country. Kind regards, Ambika from Best of Switzerland Tours
Zero visibility
Richard_G, Mar 2024
Unfortunately, the snow and wind made for zero visibility. I know that isn’t the fault of the guide or tour company, but with nothing else on the tour but Mountain Views it made for a bad experience.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear Richard, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your opinion about your recent tour to Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe. We're truly sorry to hear that the foggy weather impacted your experience on the day of your tour. Regrettably, weather conditions are beyond our control, and especially in the mountains, the weather is even more unpredictable. While it might seem cloudy or foggy at one moment, the situation can change rapidly with some wind, thus improving visibility. Also, this kind of weather is very popular in Switzerland. Thus, we run all our tours regardless of the weather as long as the cable cars and cogwheel trains are operating and our guests' safety is guaranteed. Additionally, our cancellation policy allows booking modifications/cancellations free of charge if requested up to 24 hours prior to the indicated departure time. We believe that this offers our guests great flexibility to check the weather forecast a day before the tour and to make any necessary changes to their plans. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the boat cruise on Lake Lucerne and look forward to welcoming you on one of our other mountain tours (hopefully on a sunny day). Best regards, Ambika from Best of Switzerland Tours
10/10 recommend

Great tour and tour guide! Good sized group with plenty of time to see and do everything. Strongly recommend this tour during your stay in Interlaken.
Great 4 years ago, even better in 2024!
Anonymous, Mar 2024
This "tour" uses a nice circular route, going with a long gondola ride from Grindelwald and returning by train to Lauterbrunen. When I took the same trip 4 years ago it didn't have the gondola part. Wow, nice change, and the variety of scenery is expanded by the new route. Patrick was a great guide and shared a perfect amount of info, not too much, not to little, and we never felt lacking. Well organized, easy to keep up, and always aware of the next steps when boarding or changing trains. Highly recommend.
Definitely must visit!
Lester_C, Mar 2024
Get to see the beauty of Jungfraujoch in one way or another. Had to face the weather element not being in our favour, but everything else was good. The guides were all very helpful and informative. Ensured everyone’s safety and accounted for as well. If not for the weather condition, it would have been a even better trip! But we can never beat nature, that’s the beauty of it!
Stunning experience
WingYu_F, Dec 2023
The tour ran smooth. The view is very breathtaking. And thanks to the tour guide, the route we had does not packed with many ppl.
Very well worth a lifetime experience
Arthur_B, Dec 2023
Start a bit late than supposedly but it all went very well. Marriane our guide is very well organised and really helpful. I'm travelling with 5 kids and 4 prams, our tour guide was being very helpful throughout the journey, helping us in-out train, etc. Overall is very satisfying journey and well worth it
Wonderful Experience on the Jungfraujoch!
Katharine_S, Nov 2023
Peter was a great guide. He had a rare ability to keep a crowd (there were around 30 of us) together and also to relate to us individually. He was thoughtful of the experience the participants who had young children as well as the elders (I believe I was the oldest) on the trip. His skills and personality enhanced our visit to a most beautiful area of Switzerland.
Gondola ride was worth the trip
Heather_R, Nov 2023
Gondola ride was breathtaking! We had wind and rain then snow as we went up the mountain. Because of the snow and wind, the sphinx view was a blizzard and could not see anything. The cogwheel train goes in a tunnel so nothing to see which was disappointing. Earlier this year we did Bernina Express which was much prettier than this. Due to time of year, this was the only tour open as other routes are seasonal. I’d do another excursion over this one solely because of loving to ride the train and more than one area to see. Guides were awesome.
Had a blast
ellimelech_s, Oct 2023
Started on time. Very nice trip. Its worth every penny. Hustle free guided tour. Wish we have more time.
Wonderful trip to the top of Europe!
Patricia_M, Oct 2023
Our trip to Jungfraujoch was fabulous! Although you could have taken this trip on your own, the excursion was enhanced greatly by Lars the tour guide. He was able to keep our group informed of what we were seeing by deftly speaking in multiple languages. And also keeping it light and humorous!
Informative commentary,...
John_C, Oct 2023
Informative commentary, views on the bus, the train and in particular at top of Jungfraujoch. We also enjoyed the opportunity to go out on the snow.
