Overview

Paraglide above the Swiss Alp peaks on a tandem flight with transport from Interlaken. At the launch spot in Beatenberg, listen to a safety talk with a small group of no more than 10 people, and then take off with a guide. Gaze down at Lake Thun and the snowy summits of the Jungfrau as you soar above the alpine landscape; the views are as breathtaking as the flight.

We have our shop where you check in on the Höheweg 125 opposite of the Hotel du Nord. Public parking places are nearby but not free of charge so come in time and don't forget to bring coins.

What To Expect

Kick off your paragliding adventure with hassle-free hotel or train station pickup in Interlaken at the time you choose, and savor the Alpine views along the 30-minute drive on board an air-conditioned van to Beatenberg.

Meet your paragliding instructor and learn the basics for an unforgettable tandem flight from the paragliding team, then don your safety gear and take off with an experienced guide.

Marvel at sky-high views of Lake Thun and the Jugenfrau peaks as you glide through the air, and smile for the camera as your guide snaps photos and videos of your 10- to 20-minute descent. Land in the center of Interlaken and head back to your hotel or other local drop-off point.

Maximum weight is 220lbs (100kg) per person except for the 7:15am and 4:45pm time slot when the maximum weight is 176lbs (80kg) (PLEASE NOTE: during wintertime November till end of March the last trip will be at 15:30 and the maximum weight on this trip is 176lbs/80kg!)

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

AMAZING experience! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Interlaken, it’s a must-do. I loved that you could customize the ride depending on how fast/slow you wanted to go, it was a very comfortable experience and the views are just simply breathtaking.

Bad service from my pilot but beautiful experience!

I have been looking forward to doing this for 5 years! I was super excited and a bit nervous that afternoon. The weather had cleared up and the sun came out. It was a beautiful, clear day to go paragliding. I had the unfortunate luck of drawing Luke as my pilot. He was grumpy and negative. I didn't know that I had to run down a hill for take-off. And if you have a bad knee, which I do, it could be challenging. I learned about this after we got into the van to get to the take-off point in the mountains when the lead pilot explained this to our group. When I expressed my knee issue to Luke, he seemed frustrated and said I should have informed the front office of my limitation. He was not encouraging or positive. It had snowed that early morning and the days before and the snow was just melting in the afternoon which made the grounds really slippery. We had to hike about 10 minutes to the take-off point and during that hike, I slipped a few times even with the hiking boots they provided. Luke didn't offer me any assistance. He went to set up the parachute and asked me to go downhill to join him. I was afraid of slipping again in the snow. Nicoli, the other pilot who my friend draw, was so nice. He saw my hesitation and came over to lead me over to my pilot by hand. Nicoli was my friend's pilot. He was very helpful, positive and encouraging. They allow you to choose your own pilot. I would have chosen Nicoli had I known! We didn't know who was good so we just drew cards with their names of written on the cards randomly. I was unlucky that I drw Luke. Luke, my pilot also asked me to hold his gloves while prepping, and his selfie stick when we were in the air. I was already nervous. Instead of helping me ease my anxiety, he made me work, which I really didn't mind. It was just his grumpy attitude, and I felt like I was servercing him instead of the other way around. The ride was beautiful and he became a little nicer once in the air. But overall, I would not recommend Luke. He should not be in the client-serving business at least based on his performance that day. I recommend Nicoli!

Booked this as a surprise birthday present for my partner, and we both had the best time. We were very lucky to have a sunny 26 degrees day. Both of our pilots were really amazing. My partner especially loved it since she loves sky diving. I'm not very good with height, but my pilot was very considerate, and he would check on how I'm doing constantly. Best activity we did in Switzerland. Would 10/10 recommend.

Worth it!

Peter was an excellent pilot! I haven't done this before, and as a 55 year old, I really wanted to try it. What a beautiful place to fly for my first time! The fall colors were beautiful to witness from the top and all the way down. Peters' instructions were perfect and easy to follow, I never felt scared even as we landed. It was super easy. The hardest thing to do was to run six steps downhill and walk to my landing -which was just super easy. Peter made my day by playing in the updrafts, gave me a good laugh as I felt some fun g-forces and watch the rain squall coming in over the lake. Just an exciting, fun, and very safe experience. Thank you for the ride of my life....so far!

Genuinely amazing! Would do it again in a heartbeat, the professional paraglider i was paired with was excellent and even allowed me to steer for a short while! We did a few flips at the end (which were optional!!) and i’m so glad I did it. Even if you’re anxious, you’ll be wanting to do it all over again after landing back on the ground.

I loved my tour guide Mario he was very kind and he took great pictures! He made sure I got the most out of my experience and I was comfortable. The wait time for the bus was not bad and I think my experience was worth the money, Mario did not rush our time and the views were beautiful! Mario made the experience for me!
